Peace be upon you.. who reads this entry.
Well, its halfway into December.. haha, more like past the halfway point. Its the 18th of December today.
Anyway, I guess I owe a story from my trip to Johor. On the day that we were leaving, I was dreading it. Along the journey, I just kept quiet. The only drama on the journey towards Johor was that it took more than an hour to reach Larkin (Did I spell it right?) from the Malaysian checkpoint. What a pain in the back.. literally. I pitied the people who had to stand up in the bus..
When I finally set foot in Malaysian soil, I just bit back the sarcasm at the back of my mind. I just had to accept that I was going to be there.
Well, those three days were uneventful. Nothing good nor bad happened so I guess thats ok. I was still a bit quiet but I would have a conversation with my family when spoken to. Returned home on a Sunday and well, thats the end of that.
A few days ago, my friends and I went waveboarding and also played basketball. The usual.. Luqman Nur, Luqman Hakim, Abdul Aziz and Haziq. Unfortunately, the weather was so so hot that we could only enjoy a few minutes of basketball before we would start sweating profusely. We decided that we'd just play with the waveboards at the carpark. Hehe, even then, they were toying around with iPhones. Watched 'So You Think You Can Dance' at Abdul Aziz's house later and I loved it. I especially liked Courtney and Gev.. whoa, they danced and it was jaw-dropping. Then, Abdul Aziz cooked for us some fried chicken and we enjoyed it. After that, all of us left.
So today, its Friday. The start of camp for me and oh.. I feel so tired and weak. Sigh.. So tired.
I guess I have to get ready.. gotta find a good t-shirt.. haha, peace out..
Wassalam..

Time to Get Cracking
Assalamualaikum wr. wb.
Wow.. these past two days have been really fun for me! Haha, for both days, my friends and I have been going waveboarding at Bishan Harmony Park. It's usually filled with skaters and the like but it's almost a ghost town in the morning. Haha, I guess they're not the wake-up-early type...
Well, the ones who came were Abdul Aziz, Mr Izzad, Muhammad and Haziq. Somehow, Luqman Nur is left out since he went bowling on the first day (Not with Hijannah and Shazaa, I found out. Sorry) and was tired on the second day. Sheesh.. Muhammad woke up late today but he came anyway. Haha, it was pretty awesome. Muhammad's getting good.. well, he can balance and move and all. That's pretty good. So, on the first day, the five of us played at the tricks area with all the ramps and stuff. There was only one guy there, a skater, and I bet he's a usual. Anyway, we got used to the place but eventually, we went back to the flat ground area beside it. Before we left, we tried out "The Bowl".. haha, I dont think we're at that level yet..
Went to SPC and bought some drinks and headed for school. The five of us ate at the canteen and soon afterwards, Mr Izzad left for the staff room. So, there were four left. We hit for the 8th storey. It was so hot up there.. you could boil an egg there! Saw some MUIS dudes playing Wii consoles.. I could only smirk.
Went down to the mosque and performed our Zuhr prayers. We took Bus No. 88 heading to Junction 8. Haziq was going to Ang Mo Kio (To go LAN gaming) so then, there were three. Abdul Aziz and Muhammad, along with me ate at KFC and then just walked all over J8. We played with the piano at Best Denki.. haha, it was awesome. To cut things short, the three of us soon separated and went back home.
Second day was just as awesome. Yeah, it was just as hot too. Now, the five of us can go down the ramps.. haha, awesome! After all the waveboarding, we went to SPC again and then went to school where we met some of our schoolmates there. They were volunteering for the Amal Briyani Coupon thing.. Haha, we taught them a five minute lesson to waveboarding.. Lol, boy were they new to it! Haha, future waveboarders? Perhaps.. In the end, it was back to the three of us. Muhammad, Abdul Aziz and I. We waveboarded to J8 and parted with Muhammad. From J8, Abdul Aziz and I waveboarded to his house. From there, I took a bus home.. Haha, yes, a bus...
Tomorrow, I'll be leaving for Johor and wont be back until Sunday evening. Sigh.. I hope it wont be bad. Peace and love to all my comrades and fellow friends and goodnight..

Just Sad
Hey there..
Umm.. well, firstly, Im gonna go waveboarding tomorrow with Abdul Aziz and Haziq. Yeah, he's back. Anyway, Luqman Hakim and Mr Izzad still havent answered yet and Luqman Nur is going bowling.. pffft, probably with Shazaa and Hijannah, along with Ruzaini and Abdul Rahman. Sigh.. Yeah, Im a bit envious. Shazaa and Hijannah used to be close to me but now, its like we never saw each other. Sigh.. what to do? Haha, its fine. At least they are enjoying the holidays.
Oh, and I found out that Shazaa has continued writing on Blogger.
Woohoo!!! I thought she had fully converted to Tumblr but I guess its too hard to resist. Haha, I know how that feels. Umm.. oh, and Shaakira is leaving for Genting tomorrow. Have a good time!
I cant wait for the December camp.. looking forward to seeing my friends and also seniors. Haha, well, there's still a week or more till that and so I have to survive these coming days..
I guess this should be enough. Until another day..

Depressed
Now I remember another reason why I stopped writing..
Im not such a good writer, haha! Nevermind, I guess its not all bad. Well anyway, Im feeling quite depressed nowadays.. ... ...
Putting that aside, yesterday, I had a day indifferent from any other. Eat, drink, sleep, spend time with my family. I also went to Thomson Plaza with my cousins to buy some stuff Mother asked for. Checked Facebook, again.. as usual. Chatted with Shaakira and she had some issues with her friend, I guess. Tried to lend a shoulder to rest on by comforting her. Haha, only had 16min with her and then I went to sleep. We planned to chat again at 12.30am.. I set my alarm for 12am.. Hehe.. Unfortunately, I woke up at 1 in the morning. Quickly turned on my PC as fast as I could.. When Windows Live Messenger did sign in, Shaakira was there, set on Busy status. Made the first word but it never got answered.. Haha, you know what happened? "The text could not be sent to all the recipients"!! Haha XDD!! I checked connectivity by chatting with Luqman Nur and it was fine. She was offline moments later..
So, I checked Facebook.. again, and then turned my PC off. Did some prayers and then watched some television. At around 4am, Mother woke up and started preparing Father's breakfast for work. So, I went downstairs to accompany her. After Subuh, returned to my room and played Rome: Total War.. hehe, it never gets old.
Well then, some interesting updates, or something like that. Yesterday was Nadhira's birthday (Happy Birthday!) and Abdul Aziz has returned from Malaysia. Tomorrow, Shaakira leaving for Genting. On Friday, it will be my turn to go to Malaysia. Haha, its like one long string of trips to Malaysia. Gee.. Wish I wasnt even on the string. Anyone have a pair of scissors?? Haha XDD!!
Well, I guess I'll be counting the moments till that day comes..

Momentary Freedom
I have 24 days till the end of December.. yeah, that's right. 24!
It seems so quick.. my time to relax, to have fun, to just be happy without having homework at the back of my mind. I love the holidays!
But then, new rules have been set and I see this as a bit of a downside for me. Finally, after one year.. one freaking hectic year, I get time to do the opposite of what I've been doing.
Finally, I am in love!!! Haha, yeah, you got that right! Some people would say.. "oh, you're too young to love" or "oh, you must concentrate on your studies". Yeah well, I dont care. I have someone that I have come to like so very much and I ain't letting that go. To me, being a teen means finding love, learning new things, make mistakes along the way. I am only a teen once and it's not like I decided to run away from home and pursue some imaginary career. No.. I am going to live happily and without regret.
Wow.. I seem to have lost myself in the story. Anyway, it seems that I am FORCED to go to Malaysia or I will spend the rest of my holiday rotting at home. Yes, rot...
As I said, I have 24 days.. taking out 7 days because of camp. 3 days because of the drudgery of going to Malaysia. And that leaves me with just 14 days.. Two weeks! I guess I'll use a bit of that time to revise the whole of everything related to ukhrawi that I have learnt this year. Thank you Naufal for the reminder..
It will seem that the cage will be open only for a short period of time. In January, steel bars will surround my world.. (Figuratively, of course)

Curfews
Curfews...
I hate them so much. Its like a huge hole on the path that Im walking on. Its so annoying and it ruins every plan that I have..
And yet, its good for everyone. Haha, what a twist, eh??
Anyway, having curfews is necessary for a good life. As Muslims, we should have discipline in everything we do and curfews do exactly that. Usually, curfews are used to mark the boundary of our playtime outside. Without it, we would just keep playing and playing and playing.. and that is the trick of the devil. We keep having so much fun that we forget our responsibilities and duties. Easily said, curfews stop you before you do anything worse.
As for me, I still hate it but.. well, you cant go against your parents, can you?
Haha, anyway, Im ending it short here..

Bored
What is up with me?
I woke up at 1 today.. yes, 1pm.. All I can say is wow..
Anyway, there wasn't much that I did today. Simply watched television and would occasionally surf the net, especially Facebook. There was this one show thats new on the History Channel. Battles BC. Its kinda like a documentary of battles from hundreds of years ago.. and the fighting scenes were like the movie '300'.. Haha, pretty cheesy, if you ask me.
Well, tomorrow's gonna be Friday so I think I'll sleep a bit early today.. don't wanna be late for the Friday prayers. Oh, and Im gonna be waveboarding again with my buddies (woohoo!)..
I guess thats it for today.. Lol, not much..

Change of Heart
Wow..
You know what? I give up!
I cannot stop blogging! Its just me! I will write whatever I want to write!!! Bwahahaha!
Ok.. now for the real entry.
I had an awesome day today with my friends... Doing what you say? Waveboarding!!!! We hit Bishan Harmony Park and it was totally empty. Not even one skater! I guess I should tell you who went. The usual.. Abdul Aziz, Luqman Nur, Luqman Hakim and Haziq. We enjoyed the emptiness of the area for about half an hour. Just half an hour.. then it rained. My friends quickly grabbed their stuff and ran for shelter. I, on the other hand, took my own sweet time walking under my umbrella. Hehe.. XDD!!
Anyway, we dropped at Abdul Aziz's area and bought some drinks. 20 minutes later, we were at the carpark, doing tricks and just.. well, waveboarding!
I didnt know how long we played but we sure had fun! Luqman Hakim had to go home early so the group got smaller after that. Im glad he was there to join us.. =)
We made up two games with the waveboard.. WaveBoard Brawling and Waveboard "Rugby"! Haha, it was so awesome!!! Abdul Aziz and I went back to his house and rested while we waited for Haziq and Luqman Nur to buy drinks at the shop below. 15 minutes later, two bottles of Lemon Tea where shared sparingly between Abdul Aziz, Luqman Nur and I. Haziq had to go home so now it was just the three of us. Watched 'The Simpsons' and 'Time Warp' (which was so totally awesome.. and gross) and also some other shows. It was in that time period that we waited for the Pelican Pizza delivery to come... it was sooo long waiting for it to come. Eventually came and soon, the three of us had our hands full with pizza slices.
Luqman Nur and I left at 6.20pm.. I arrived home at around 6.35pm..
Did my Maghrib prayers and later my Isya' prayers.
So now, I am just about done blogging. Actually talking to my sweet senior "Kak" Shaakira. Yesterday, we made a record by chatting the longest than ever before.. 5 hours!!! From 11pm to 4 in the morning!! Wooaah!! Cool, eh???
Well anyway, I guess thats it..

A New Start
Assalamualaikum wr. wb.
Peace be upon everyone reading this. It is Aidiladha today, with another positive of being on a Friday! Allahu Akbar! Anyway, on this day, it is good to take a different route when going somewhere. I heard from today's sermon that the Prophet s.a.w. would take a different path when going somewhere just so that he may give the salam to more people. It would be wise to follow in the Prophet's footsteps as even if there is no one to greet you along the way, it shows that you are a faithful follower in performing sunnah. Thank you.
I would also like to say sorry to all those who have waited to read my posts. I know that I have not been writing for long because I took advice from a wise friend on blogging and thought it best to stop. However, I have now returned to writing. The posts will not be filled with my everyday problems or success but anything good which I feel is good to share with my good friends and/or readers.
Thank you..

Swirling Emotions
Friday was... Crazy!!!
I cant tell you how many kind of emotions I felt that day. It was like a royal rumble of feelings, all swirling in me and coming out at different times. It was downright crazy!
Let's start then.
Umm... well, first event of the day was the Arabic Program. I was so psyched up for the whole thing. The few things that I remember was how Nur was so frantic and how nervous the guys were. In the end, everything went ok but the mood changed when Ustd Alaina gave the audience a lecture cause they clapped after the Quran recitation by Rifqi. That quietened the mood.
During class, Ustd Idgham entered our class for Mustholah Hadith and gave the class a talk about our class behaviour and also gave us some motivation. Did a bit of work during Faraidh class and then did some more work during Maths lesson. I felt happy, overworked, nervous and also troubled all at once that day. I listened to the sermon during the Friday prayers and performed the prayer afterwards. I saw Abdul Aziz after that and hastened to meet up. I bolted up the stairs and rallied "the crew". This time, there was a lot more people. 8, including me and Abdul Aziz. There was Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz, both Luqmans, Haziq, Muhammad, Umar, Abdul Aziz and I.
We played in the heat of the scorching mid-day sun. I was a bit cranky this time as the heat really burned the soles of my shoes and everytime I got the ball, I was chased by at least 2 people. I liked the freedom of running free but it wasnt an option this time. Anger soon joined in with the crankiness. When we left for Abdul Aziz's house, I was so annoyed when Luqman Nur and Abdul Aziz ignored me when I was talking with them. Reached his house and started playing Sudden Attack. I played a bit cause a lot of people wanted to try. I was a bit pissed off during this one time... I also felt so mad at one point in time. Luckily, Muhammad was there and kept trying to calm me down.
We all chipped in to order pizza from a place called 'Pelican Pizza', if Im not wrong. I had 2 slices of the pepperoni pizza. Lastly, I felt some calm and solace after performing 'Asr prayers with the guys. Went home at different times with different parties. Two parties, to be exact. The first group to leave was Abdul Rahman, Umar and Luqman Hakim. About 15min later, Haziq, Muhammad, Luqman Nur and I departed.
I had a good day, overall.

Start Writing
Im skipping straight to Wednesday as I dont possibly have the time to add in Monday and Tuesday.
So anyway, I had a good time today. Its very weird as its the start of my End Year Exam. I did my Malay composition writing, which I would say, was ok. I didnt do anything much from 10am for an hour and a half. Only did I do something during Geography lesson. The class did some last minute revising with Mr Ismail for about 20min. After that, he told us tales of his childhood and more. Luckily, during Lughah class with Ustd Salehin, we didnt have to hand in the Insya' but instead did assessment work. Tafsir wasnt so much of revision except simple worksheets. During White-Space Period, the guys from S3 and S4 had a close-door session. Thats as far as Im gonna talk about it.
After school, I cleaned the class in a jiffy and went to the canteen to do either work or revisions. Well, turns out, I just did work. I completed last week's Geography work and then spent the next hour talking with Naufal about school and subjects. I had a good time. When it was time to leave, I gave my salam to Albukhari, Abdul Rahman Abd Rahim, Ali Imran and Naufal.
Ooooh yes, and the open house on Sunday which Shazaa invited me to was ok. I'll upload pictures tomorrow or some other day...

All Fun & Games
You know, I thought I would be studying on Saturday. Since... well, the exams are so close but hey, I guess it just wasnt meant to be.
On Saturday, I started the day playing Sudden Attack. It was ok. I level-ed up and became a Gunnery Sergeant Grade 4, if Im not wrong. During the afternoon, my nephews and I played Marvel Superheroes on their XBOX 360. It was ok. I became Wolverine... which, I believe, is the best among them. He's also the leader. We played till night came. Of course, I did my five daily and compulsory prayers. I ate McDonalds at about 4pm and KFC at about 9pm. I didnt ask for it but somehow, the food came to me.
Funny thing though. Nur asked if I wanted to go and apply for university... in Malaysia??? I mean, thats a fine gesture but I felt like it was out of the blue. But hey, I said I would think about it.
I dunno... I dont fancy Malaysia much. Its a country, yes. But, I just feel thats not me. But who knows? Maybe I'll grow and go there anyway. Until then, my eye is on Medina. Its a longshot but I wanna go for it. Lets hope Sunday is more fruitful.

Revision and Recreation
Friday came and went like... a leaf falling down from a tree.
Well, it has no relation with the post but Im just saying that Friday seemed to end quickly.
It was a good day. I arrived first in my class like every other day. I went around to the back overlooking the field and memorised for the Quran oral.
After the assembly, the secondary students stayed at the void deck for the Arabic Program. That day, it was the total of the Secondary 4 students. It wasnt so bad. I enjoyed it, and I believe the others did too. When lessons started, I had Mustolah Hadith. Ustzh Faridah summarised all that she had taught for the this semester. I found it quite easy to understand when written in the mindmap form. Then, during Faraidh lesson, the whole class had to complete their worksheets. When I handed in my papers, Ustd Mahzan smiled and hoped that I would score for the Final Year Exam. He also said that I could become an 'ulama if I further my studies. I was so elated but I didnt tell anyone yet. And please, could you ( Dear readers ) keep this quiet? Its a secret between us. Anyway, we continued the day with Maths lesson. Did the revision work that Mr Roslan told us to do. During Contact Time, Mr Roslan was kind enough to let us memorise for the oral exam.
When the oral exam did commence, I was so nervous cause my examiner was Ustd Abdul As-Salam, the Hafiz so I was like... 'Omg, is he gonna be tough???'. I did ok felt so scared. After the oral exam, Ruzaini, Bukhari, Abdul Rahman Abd Rahim and I played one-touch volleyball... in the canteen! We stopped 15min later cause Ustd Azhari saw us and was like... 'What??'.
Later, Mr Izzad came and brought his laptop. I asked to see Transformers 2 and got to see the fighting scenes. There were some parts which Mr Izzad forwarded... lol. Afterwards, Luqman Nur, Muhammad and I later went to Abdul Aziz's house to play basketball. It was so fun. I ran a lot. Lotsa jokes! We laughed here and there. Played Sudden Attack at Abdul Aziz's room and then did our Asr prayers and went home. Luqman Nur already left so Muhammad and I were the last to leave. I took Bus No. 162 and Muhammad took Bus No. 13.
Went home and watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Remembering
School was fun today, well... sorta.
Quran and Tafsir wasnt so bad. Just simple revisions. Malay was awesome. Cikgu Iskandar showed us the movie 'Forrest Gump', featuring Tom Hanks. The class got interrupted halfway through cause it was time for Science classes. Bad timing, if you ask me. During Chemistry, I understood most of what was taught, but I was bored so that deducted some points from the bank of concentration...
Memorized oral notes during Lughah lesson with Ustd Salehin. Fiqh and Tauhid, the last 2 lessons of the day was also a good finish to the school day.
After school, I decided to give Raja Noor Hidayah the card which she handed out last Friday. I checked the 7th storey and most of them were taking pictures with one another. So, I went back to the 6th storey and together with Bukhari, went to the canteen. Bukhari wanted to study after school so I bought a drink at the drinks shop. There, I saw Hidayah and gave her the cards and then, after finishing the drink, went to the mosque and did my prayers. I prayed alone but then a Ma'mum joined in so I became Imam. After praying, I saw that it was Khair "Specky" and Harith "Specky"... and by "Specky" here I mean wearing glasses. Before going up, I saw Ali Imran and Luqman Nur in the office, probably still looking for the culprit who stole Luqman Nur's bag on Tuesday. I helped in the search but to no avail. Went back upstairs to the canteen and read wishes from Irshad's wish book. Well, its not really his wish but wishes from the S5 girls who wanted to wish him good luck and stuff. Naufal and Irshad smiled and laughed when I read the wishes. Finally, I went home with Farid, Bukhari and Ali Imran at about 6.45pm. Naufal and Irshad were gonna stay till Isya'.
Arrived home and thought of myself leaving Irsyad...
Really gonna miss the S5's...

Revision
Tilawah... twice in a week, Mondays and Wednesdays.
"This is your last...", I said to Harith, my group leader. He smiled. See, this Friday will be the Secondary 5 students' last reporting day at Irsyad. Its really sad to see another batch leave. But hey, school isnt forever... so spend it well. Im trying to do that... Hopefully, my efforts will be fruitful.
Anyway, classes today were ok. My class revised 'Waqaf' during Fiqh lesson. I havent totally memorized so I was somehow dumbstruck when I was one of the first to be asked a question by Ustd Mahzan. But the overall lesson did make me recall the topic being studied, so its not a loss. Helped Ms Amnah making some games which was tiring. Geography, after English, was also ok. Mr Ismail covered one sub-topic regarding 'Natural Vegetation' very quickly.
During what was supposed to be Lughah lesson but instead turned into one hour of free time, Muhammad and I sat outside of the class... I was memorizing the latest notes Ustd Salehin gave us while Muhammad took his Quran file. And then, during Tafsir, Ustd Ruzi brought the whole class to see the Drug Exhibition Bus at the Void Deck. Some guy who I think is part of the Police Corps. or something was doing a talk later for the secondary students so he showed us those kind of stuff they show at the museum, only its about drugs and all its bad stuff.
Continued the 2nd part of the "It's Me" workshop which was fun. After school, about 10 Secondary 3 guys, including me, waited for Luqman Nur to find out who stole his bag the other day. We were like... cheering him on and he was like "Woah, why is everyone here? Go away..." and stuff so we were downhearted and instead of cheering him on, we all went home...
Haha... It was cool though.

New Places
Long time no write...
Been thinking of writing few weeks ago but I just didnt feel like writing. Wanted to talk about the Iftar and the Hari Raya Celebrations but you know what, I think thats totally way behind now. But it was ok. For pictures, refer to my multiply.
Anyway, today... well, today was a good day. The Pure Science students went to the Science Lab from 8.55am till the end of normal lesson Physics. Thats cause some visitors from the Phillipines and some Madrasah Al-Arabiah teachers came to visit. So, our class did an experiment using the Data Logger. It was cool. The first part was as real as any lesson but then we had to re-do the experiment and that was the acting part.
I was very tired during Physics class itself but thanks to Muhammad and his massage, I felt better. Dunno why but it seemed as if a lot of people were sleepy.
After lunch break, my class had English lesson in the Library. We completed our comprehension work which wasnt so bad... compared to doing it in class.
Quran and Nahu class was pretty good.
After school was even better. For PT classes, we went to the Computer Lab. It was awesome. Farid, Helmi and I sat on one table at the side of the class, right infront of the teacher's table. Well, the S2 students were supposed to go to some 'Ace=Learning' website and do maths questions. The three of us didnt have anything to do so we surfed the net. Checked out my multiply and Mr Izzad's multiply. Mdm Surianah was like... "Ooooh, this boys!"
Luqman Nur lost his bag, which was sad. Dunno how he's gonna get his bag and stuff back. Also, Kampung Siglap Mosque was burning! I found out before it on the news. Abdul Aziz told me... well, his school is right beside the mosque. I was like 'woah....'

Demoralized
First of all, let me start of by wishing everyone a happy Eid celebrations! I just wanna say that I know I may have been annoying, disturbing, attention-seeking and all that. So, I just ask that you forgive me for any wrongdoings I may have done... after all, I am human.
Well, the day then. Its Wednesday, so there was always Tilawah. I was so tired but I read anyway during my turn. Did my Dhuha prayers with Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz and Hafizuddeen. At the end of the first recess, Hafizuddeen asked me if I could do him a favor. Ok... he asked me if I could be an emcee (Is this how its spelled?) for the friday celebrations. I nodded and acted as if this was something normal. However, inside, I was jumping up and down, eager to do it. Hurun Ain and Syaira asked who I wanted to partner with. Anyone, I said.
Class started with Fiqh. 1 and a half hour listening about 'Taukiilul Wakiil'. It wasnt so bad. I did however get sleepy near the end of it. Tried my best to wake up. I changed states every few seconds, sometimes awake, sometimes sleeping. Sigh...
We didnt continue yesterday's movie of 'Slumdog Millionare' during English lesson. Ms Amnah asked for volunteers to help her sort some papers from the Primary 1 Level. Either that or we had to do a composition on disasters. I chose the composition... why? Cause if we finished helping Ms Amnah, we still had to do the composition. And anyway, I wanted to do the writing. I wrote a story of myself as one of the dying victims in the Mt. Vesuvius eruption. More like a written vision of the person. I completed it already, two pages and I didnt leave a line. But, Muhammad asked about my story and Ms Amnah said it was wrong. Talk about a waste of time and ink...
During Geography, Mr Ismail talked about the impacts of droughts. Here, I was in my double-state again... but I pulled through. We finished the movie 'Perfect Storm' during Lughah classes and did some translation during Tafsir class.
It was in White Space Period that the rehearsals for the Friday performances took place. I went up first for the principal scene. I was the principal and I had only two lines to say. When I went back to my seat, Hafizuddeen asked if this was my only scene. I nodded. I asked him why but he said it was nothing. Few minutes later, the breaking news came. Hafizuddeen I wasnt the emcee anymore... seems that my services werent needed anymore in this school event. It so happens that the first two emcees were both guys. The second two emcees were girls and the third couple was also girls. I was supposed to be in the fourth one. It so happens that I was supposed to be paired up with Husnina but Mdm Faizah thought otherwise. I was 'kicked out' and replaced by Adawiyah. My smile disappeared completely. Farid was assuring me that it was ok, everything was fine. Outside, I acted a bit disappointed. Inside, the warmth of excitement itself crumbled and my will to smile and laugh was gone. My one shot to be a huge part of a school event and it gets tossed out the window. I mean, whats wrong? Last year, during the same event, the emcees were Rifqi, Nur and Sofiah. Whats so different then that its not allowed now?
I cooled down after a while but I was so demoralized. I felt fiery rage and a cold sadness swirling inside my heart. Its ok, I thought to myself. Assembly time... everyone left and I sweeped Secondary 3 Andalusia's floors. I did my best but everytime I cleaned the class, it would become worse the next day. I kept the broom and dustpan and went to do my Asr prayers with Bukhari. Yes, I know... I skipped rehearsals. Relax, two lines wont be too hard. Bukhari and I hanged out at the mosque and talked at the canteen afterwards. I really felt better talking to him. He kinda understood me.
Oh yeah, I remember the quote Cikgu Iskandar told the class the other day...
"The years you spend as a teenager will shape who you are in the future"
Good, eh?
Well then...

26th Ramadhan 09'
Iftar day!!!
I had a great time on this day and am not hesitating in telling you my activities. As you know, this day (Wednesday) was set to be a half day, due to the need in preparing for the Iftar itself. I could not however express the elation I felt for last year's Iftar on today's. But anyhow, I'll tell you thw hole story.
It all started out with our routine tilawah recitations at Muhajirin Mosque. Mainly the reading of the Quran in groups. After that, the Secondary 3 and 5 students would stay at the mosque and continue their reading or perform their Dhuha prayers. I would usually do my Dhuha prayers at the front left of the mosque, a place where I could see the outside environment and breath in the fresh air I so very much crave. After recess a.k.a Dhuha prayers/Quran recitation time, I went to class with my schoolmates and delved into an engaging class of Fiqh. Our task was simple. On the last lesson, we assigned ourselves into groups and would translate paragraphs of certain topics. Well today, one member from each group would move to another group to explain their work and understanding. I had a good time explaining as both my group and Helmi's group did the same paragraphs. So, Ustd Mahzan called for our group and he started explaining the precise meanings. It was thrilling.
After Fiqh, the next class was supposed to be English class. Unfortunately, Ms Amnah did not come in for class. My belief is that she was a bit upset with a previous lesson with us. Anyway, I slept for 50min. Wow... 50min is enough cause I was very much awake with Geography class, which we studied about Droughts and Floods. Ustd Salehin didnt come in for Lughah class. And hey presto, school's out!
I went home and took a bath, emptied my SD Card, packed my batteries and went to Junction 8. I had already planned to meet Muhammad, Rifqi and Danish there at 2.30pm. Unfortunately, Danish and Rifqi didnt come. So, Muhammad and I walked the whole of Junction 8. We listened to songs, checked out new tecnological advances in gadgetry, skimmed through racks of movies and lots more. When we did leave for school, we arrived at about 4.30pm. Did our Asr prayers and then went to do our business in school. I borrowed Mr Izzad's camera. How I wish we both had the same SD Cards or I could've used Mr Izzad's camera and put my SD Card in it. Of course, I'd also take pictures for Mr Izzad.
Hmm... well, I saw a lot of people. I took pictures of the Tilawathon going on. I snapped pictures of people preparing for the Iftar itself. Long story short, I took pictures around the whole school. I did my Maghrib prayers with Luqman Nur and also Tilawah with him. Abdur Rahman Yassin was awesome. I am glad to be his friend. At the end of the whole activity, everyone went home. Not all at once but bit by bit, people trickled out of the school lot. I decided to be the last few to leave. Got to see Dzulhijjah. Im assuming Syaira and Hurun... those people, invited her. Haziq, Abdul Rahman Abd Rahim and Muhammad helped clean the woks and pans and all the cooking items. I stayed behind and took some pictures of them. Muhammad left and also Hafizuddeen later, with Zulzawaid. Hafizuddeen did a qiyam at An-Naeem MoSque so I guess thats good-bye. In the end, the only Irsyadians left at school was Abdul Rahman Abd Rahim, Haziq and I. I helped carry the cleaned appliances and also provided some stuff in helping the cleaning process go quicker. Mr Muneer asked us to wait for him in front of the Male Teacher's Room. We then went to the Basement, along with Mr Muneer and Mr Esmadi. Mr Muneer drove us home. First Haziq, then me, and lastly Abdul Rahman.
Goodnight...

18th Ramadhan 09'
I kinda like Physics class during the holidays. I really do.
Ok, lets start off from the beginning. After Subuh prayers, I bathed and put on my school attire except the shirt. I was wearing a t-shirt, so thats ok. I read a few pages of the Quran and then played Sudden Attack for a while before leaving for school. I left at around 7.10am and arrived school at 7.30+ with Ziyan, whom I met on the way walking to school.
The both of us met Muhammad at S3 Bukhara. Shortly afterwards, Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz arrived. Then, Nur. Later, Hafizuddeen and Farid and just behind them was Helmi. So all the boys were here except for Luqman Hakim. So, I went to my class, S3 Andalusia, and sweeped the floor a bit. Was shocked to see Nur in there. When I asked what she was doing, she just said that she was searching for something. Ok... while Helmi searched for his physics practical workbook, I looked around at the class. After they left, I sweeped the dusty floor. When the clock pointed at 8, I went to S3 Bukhara and soon afterwards, Mdm Surianah arrived. We studied pressure, well, more in-depth. than during the last lesson. I concentrated pretty well. On my right was Hafizuddeen and on my left, Ziyan. We observed the class and saw a lot of people sleepy. Some were already resting their heads on the table.
Anyway, I understood it. Well, enough to know how it works. It was 9.55am when class was brought to rest. We would meet at the Science Lab at 10.15am. I secretly took the elevator (well, the stairs were closed cause some contractors were renovating/fixing something) and went to the mosque to do my Dhuha prayers. When I finished my prayers, I found the other guys waiting outside. Together with Farid and Helmi, I went back to class, packed my bag and headed for the Science Lab. We did an experiment on the 'Principle of Moments'. The assignment had tables and graphs involved. Not my kinda thing. But I did finish. I was grouped with Hafizuddeen and Ziyan. Ended the class at 12+. I took Bus No. 13 with Muhammad and Ziyan. Talked about politics and nations on the bus, until I arrived at my checkpoint. Took Bus No. 410 and then went home.
There, I did my Zuhr prayers, played Sudden Attack, did my 'Asr prayers and then, Sudden Attack. After Maghrib prayers, I read the Quran and then after that, I did my Isya' prayers and Terawih prayers. Before sleeping, I read some more pages of the Quran. Anyway, sorry for this late entry. Assignments for Physics is to complete 7A and 7B of the theory workbook and also make an aneroid barometer.

17th Ramadhan 09'
Helping out other people in good deeds is very much loved in the month of Ramadhan, dont you think? I agree. It seems just today that I helped a certain someone. At first I thought it was going to be a normal day. Just Mr Izzad and I, along with 6 classes worth of Primary 1 students. Well, it turns out that today, there was a kind of exam or test for the Primary 1's to categorise them into their classes. To my surprise, a lot of Secondary 3 students volunteered to help on that day, mostly girls. I was a bit shy at first, but soon found out that some other guys were there too... Well, the only guys I saw were Hafizuddeen, Helmi, Farid and Ali Imran.
Anyway, my job today was to help take pictures of kids for their Ez-link cards. It felt scary at first, knowing that what I took was gonna appear on the children's Ez-link card but Mr Izzad reassured me that it was gonna be fine. And anyhow, Mr Izzad was gonna be with me. I was using his camera too.
We started with P1 Fez. A lot of the kids werent wearing school clothes so Mr Izzad brought some spares from the office. The girls, the older S3 girls, helped to dress the kids. I was ok. Husnina and Syaira left their classes and helped Sakinah and Liyana with the children. It sounds easy, taking pictures... but it felt a lot harder than when I first heard. Click, click, click, tick. Over and over again. Soon, we finished up P1 Fez and headed for P1 ElVira. Same routine. However, this time, I had a commander instructing me what to do. No, not Mr Izzad. It was Nur. I found that she was kind and at the same time stern with the children, like some motherly kind of attitude. Whenever Mr Izzad and I were finishing on one class, Nur would call me and we would go to the next class. Kinda like I was a ship, Nur was the compass and the classes were my destinations. Everyone helped a lot and I was grateful.
Thank you to Husnina and Syaira, for helping during the first parts. Thank you to Nur, for helping out during the middle and end of it. And thank you to all the others for making things go as quick as possible. After finishing, Mr Izzad and I went to the office to give the forms, including the names of the children whose pictures were taken. We received something in return... I wont say what it is, but I feel grateful just to be able to help.
I returned home and did my Zuhr prayers and later, fell asleep on my bed from exhaustion. I woke up and did my Asar prayers. Then, I watched the movie 'Spectacular'.
Summarise the end parts... broke my fast, did Maghrib prayers, watched Avatar, did Isya' and Terawih prayers. Now writing this very entry and hoping that you might feel the fun I experienced today.

14th Ramadhan 09'
Well, lets start off with good news...
I found my nailclipper!!! Hehe, Rifqi accidentally brought it back home. Anyway, today, I watched the pupils of Secondary 1 Bukhara perform for their Arabic Program. It was... acceptable. I did Tilawah during what should have been Mustolah Hadith class. This was because a lot of people were missing cause of their briefing on the P6 Mentor thing. During Faraidh class today, Helmi, Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz, Muhammad and I were chosen to sit infront and be the people who listened to the memorisation of our fellow classmates. Felt a bit shy sitting infront. Afterwards, during Maths lesson, I studied 'Radian' with the class. I was confused at first but I caught up. Received my Report Book and got 85.4% overall. I was ecstatic.

I did my Friday prayers and listened to the Friday sermon. It was about the importance of the Quran in the bond of a community.
Well, I didnt clean the class today cause everyone was in class, hanging out, fooling around. No way was I cleaning that. Went home and got to play JUST one match of Sudden Attack. After that, I took a cold bath and went to school for the Peer Tutor Iftar. I arrived at around 4pm so I decided to do my Asar prayers with the public. About 20min after finishing my prayers and all, the other Peer Tutors went down to do their prayers. AlBukhari was the first to spot. I was hiding cause I was wearing jeans... and the teachers of the Department dont like seeing jeans. Waited for them to finish their prayers. Returned to Multi-Purpose Room 3 with the others. I joined Luqman Hakim's group since I was late and had no team. During the 'Treasure Hunt', our team won! Victory lap!!!
Watched 'Upin and Ipin' for 30min with the others and then headed to grandmother's house. I arrived 10min before the call of Maghrib. My parents, my aunt and uncle, along with my grandmother, broke our fast in a merry mood. My cousins ate KFC with me. After eating, I became Imam for our Maghrib prayers. I felt very elated when my grandmother praised me. At precisely 8.05pm, I left for school again. Along the way from the bus-stop to the school, I met up with Shaheed and Muzhaffar leaving. They apologised for anything they ever did to me, which confused me cause they didnt do anything. Shaheed joked and gave me a sheepy smile when he offered to send word to Shazaa. Very funny, Shaheed. When I did arrive, I immediately joined the Isya' prayer going on in the mosque. Did my terawih there too, beside AlBukhari. He's a good guy... =)
After all that, I went to the canteen and just looked at the others packing food and stuff. I took a few pictures... just a few. Sigh...
I took Bus No. 13 with Ali Imran and Muhammad. Spent a few minutes at the bus-stop with Umar and Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz. Poor Helmi went back alone cause he's taking the bus on the opposite side.

Arived home somewhere around 10.15pm.
(Smile)... today was a great day!

13th Ramadhan 09'
What the heck, man???
Not trying to exaggerate or anything but... 'Where are MY nailclippers???'
They are missing again and I am getting tired of this. Its been like this for 2 times already. Sigh... anyone seen them? Nevermind.
I had an utterly confusing class of Chemistry. Unfortunately, we mixed Balancing Equations and Ionic Equations together and what we got was a new way of making what was supposed to be a fun subject into a not so fun subject. Maybe not for the people who do understand. I was racking my brains to get it all inside but, hey, what can you do when you dont understand? Well, what I did was sit and look at the equation, occassionally walking around to see other people's paper. Hmm... we watched 'The Arrivals' during Lughah class. Ustd Salehin was late so we got an excuse for watching. We watched too much that my class scrambled down the stairs to join the prayers. I just managed to arrive but one rak'ah late. No sweat. Some even missed the whole prayer. Spent Tauhid or what was left of Tauhid class listening to the introduction of 'Haudh'. Thats Arabic for, if Im not wrong, a well.
Cleaned the whole class up with some help by Taufiq and Albukhari. Ali, Albukhari and I sat at the steps of the mosque. Just 10min before the call for Asar prayers, we decided to go. And so, I waited at the bus stop alone, waiting for Bus No. 163. I checked my watch and wondered if I wanted to go back and join for the prayer. I thought once, twice and then thrice, until finally, I came to the conclusion that I would go.
After praying, went to Popular bookshop to buy some stuff.
Went home and watched the Simpsons, broke my fast, did my Maghrib prayers and watched Avatar.

10th Ramadhan 09'
The first one-thirdth of the month has passed and gone. To be truthful, I still have not changed much... Whats more, I am suppressing this beast inside of me. This beast whose aim is to mislead me in every direction possible.
Anyway, thanks be to Allah that I am halfway through Quran with 20 more days ahead for me to finish. I dunno... I feel like my pizzazz that was once inside of me is gone. I feel less vibrant. The world is more darker and its crumbling like a weak building, falling and falling...
Sigh... I cant say much about my tests. It was pretty much average.
Hmm... Isnt it sad? That Ramadhan comes and goes and that same person still stays the same as he/she was... Kinda describes me, well, that is if I dont start "the change". Seriously, I dont have to change a lot but otherwise better myself.
I hope to write in future posts.
Thanks for reading.

A Glimmer of Hope
Today felt like... woah!!!
Revised Hadith this morning and later checked up on my Faraidh notes. During the Faraidh test, I did pretty good. When we did finish and Cikgu Iskandar entered class, he forgot the papers and rushed down to get it. He returned with our finished Faraidh test papers, and pitifully, went down again to get our Hadith test papers. Did good too... So, the continuation of the day is seen as Chemistry class. Got to really know how to balance chemical equations, unlike the previous class. Drank a bit during Lunch and later, Ustd Soleh entered class, probably cause Ustd Salehin is busy or sick. Had a kind of charades game which was awesome! After that, I did my Zuhr prayers and had 1 and a half hour more of Ustd Soleh. This time, he brought us to Multi-Purpose Room 3 where he mentioned a topic about Ramadhan and someone he chosen will talk about it in Arabic. Evidently, it was to prepare us for our upcoming STE Oral for next year. He wanted us to talk for at the least, 3 minutes. Abdur Rahman... well, he's excellent at his Arabic so he's sure to have gotten that time. Helmi got 2 min 30 sec which was like... the longest among those who talked that day. I got 2 min 10 sec. It's ok... I can improve.
A few minutes before assembly, we all Cikgu Zulkifli walking to our class so about 6 of us stormed up to class and cleaned it as best we could. Fortunately, Cikgu didnt even enter our class. I walked home with Muhammad, listening to a song he made. Whilst listening, I heard the call of prayer, of the azan, and after shaking hands with Muhammad, I went to pray at the mosque instead. He saw me... smiled, and followed suit. After performing my Asar prayers, I stayed back at school to share notes with Taufiq, Bukhari, Abdul Rahman Abd Rahim and Ruzaini. Stayed until 5:50pm and then went home.
At home, I watched about a dozen episodes of 'The Arrivals'. All about Satan's well-planned idea, the story of Isa a.s. and also the destruction and resurrection of the Temple of Sulaiman, also known as Al-Aqsa Mosque. Note that the Dome of the Rock is not Al-Aqsa but the one beside it. There have been many archaelogical digs beside the mosque and countless Palestinians see this as the coming of the false messiah, the Dajjal or the Antichrist.
Be prepared my brothers and sisters, for the war of our time has come...

Struggle
Boy, today's Physics test was so hard. I was confused for the first part of the time period. Fiqh was a bit less tougher... just a bit. Had Maths class where we, the class, revised how to distinguish a similar or congruent shape, and to find the areas of similar shapes. During Mustolah Hadith, I listened to Ustzh Faridah mentioning what we needed to study. It seemed like a whole lot. During Lunch, I drank Peach Tea and then went back up and had a short chat with Hafizuddeen Khalis. Ustd Ruzi allowed the class to do revisions during Hadith class. Did my Zuhr prayers. Abdur Rahman Yassin became the Imam, Hanafiah became the Bilal and Adam read the du'a. I was really happy for them. Ustd Mahzan wanted me to read the du'a but I said I didnt know any... After Zuhr prayers, I had 1 and a half hour of Lughah classes. Ustd Salehin wanted everyone to write a poem with our names in it... I was so miserable during that lesson because:
1- I was denied by Ustd Salehin for more than 5 times
2- I frustrated Ustd Saelhin
3- I finished last, after struggling for almost an hour...
Ustd Salehin showed us some more episodes of 'The Arrivals' which was awesome. At the end of the class, showed Ustd Salehin accepted my last one and then, I helped clean up the class with Taufiq, Bukhari and the others. Got green again... haha! Went home with Taufiq and Luqman Nur. Walked to Junction 8 with Luqman Nur and then took Bus No. 52 home.

P.S. Got 41 messages in my e-mail inbox. Woah!!!

Secondary 3 Party
Today was a good day. Had half an hour free during the start of the day. Memorised some Malay proverbs and then went for recess. Drank Lemon Tea and went back to class. I had my Malay test later on and it was pretty good. Finished in around 10min and slept for the next 30min. I checked my paper, dont worry. Ustd Mahzan didnt enter for Fiqh-Faraidh class so we just talked and chatted. Mr Roslan entered an hour later and we revised 'Congruency and Similarity'. During Contact Time, all of Secondary 3 went to the canteen for the party. Secondary 3 Andalus [Thats my class...=)] brought the drinks. Each guy carried a bottle on their shoulder. We looked like we were going to war...
Well anyway, when we did arrive, I didnt feel like eating. Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz and Zulfaqar sat beside me. Zulfaqar wasnt being festive for that occasson. I coaxed him to loosen up but he was being... you know... uncooperative. Well, I didnt wanna argue so I just went to take pictures. I felt a whole deal greater. Drank Lemon Tea and Nur gave me some awesomely sweet apple-flavoured sweets which I loved SOOO much!!! But I only had three. When it did finish, I asked Nur for more but she said it had finished. I pulled a sour face and, I guess... seeing me sad, she checked her pockets and gave me 2 more of those heavenly delights. I was happy and at the same time, I felt bad, Helped clean up, not to mention having some of Danish's birthday cake... which Muhammad fed to me! Haha... today's Friday sermon was about 'Being Grateful to Allah s.w.t.' and how to be grateful and thankful about everything. After the Friday prayers, I cleaned up the class and then hanged-out after school in class with the others. Met Nur again and gave her one of the sweets she gave me. That easened my conscience...=)
Well, below are some photos from today's party. For more, go to my Multiply and check them out...

"Awesomeness"
Today, I started off with revisions for Maths. Then recess and afterwards was the Maths test itself. I was a bit confused on one question so I just tried. No looking back... then, I had my Tafsir which was easier than Maths. However, there was a lot of writing involved so I wasnt that enthusiastic. After that had ended, I had a fun lesson of Chemistry with Mr Muneer. Lunch came and went, followed by an awesome Lughah class. Ustd Salehin showed us about 4 chapters of 'The Arrivals' which I enjoyed greatly. Zuhr prayer commenced an hour later after which started Fiqh classes. Short and quick before another free session during Tauhid class. A number of my classmates along with myself cleaned up the class and got a spiffing green grade. Awesome!!!
Promised myself to bring drinks for tomorrow's Secondary 3 party after I saw a pissed off Nur. Gave a brotherly hug to Abdur Rahman Yassin and went downstairs with Taufiq and Bukhari, walking according to the music Taufiq played on his phone. We walked like three weirdos to the canteen. Separated myself from them and went home with Luqman Nur. Rode Bus No. 59 to Junction 8 and then took Bus No. 410 whereas Luqman Nur took Bus No. 55... and so, the day continued. Watched 'Kingdom of Heaven' and 'Lord of the Rings' just now. Hmm... I think Im gonna memorise for tomorrow's Malay test...

God's Work
Had Tilawah for starters... I borrowed the mosque's Quran and later returned it. Had my English test. Had to do one composition from 3 topics. I did one which wanted me to explain the importance of good manners. And so I did. Did ok. Halfway into the test, I finished checking the composition and corrected some errors. Ustd Mahzan saw me and asked if I wanted to study for Tauhid, in exchange for handing in my paper. I thanked him and sat outside. Soon, lots of people were going outside cause they finished their paper. When I did do my Tauhid paper, I was so grateful that I remembered all the facts. Finished it with a smile on my face.
I had English classes after the tests where we went to the library to read books. Managed to finish a book about Martin Luther King and also Nelson. Afterwards, I had an hour of Geography. Mr Ismail let us do revision for tomorrow. Had Lunch and I searched for my missing nail-clipper. Used the whole period to retrace my steps. So, I turned my sets on S3 Bukhara. I thought one of them would have taken it.
Then, came along Hafizuddeen. I asked if he had seen my nail-clipper and he said he saw it with Fadzil. Renewed hope filled my heart. When Fadzil did arrive to class, I asked him for my nail-clipper and he gave it to me. Woohoo! I was so happy to have gotten back one of my possession. Started Lughah lessons. There, Ustd Salehin taught us to write Arabic poems. Everyone laughed when Ustd Salehin played a Malay song on his computer which included my name in a very funny lyric. I made a good poem and Ustd Salehin liked it. Then, Tafsir classes. Revision again. Did my Zuhr prayers and then went to the Auditorium. All the Secondary students went there to watch a video by Harun Yahya on the Miracles of the Quran. It was cool. Cleaned up the class after school and after Bukhari, Danish, Asyraf, Taufiq and I had done cleaning it, it was so clean I didnt even recognise it. Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz wanted to pray at the mosque first. I almost went berserk. A lump welled in my throat. I wanted to hit someone. 10min passed by like an hour. When I did do my prayers, I shed a tear cause I couldnt take it. Went home alone and alone I am now...

Late Updates
Its been some time since I last updated this blog. Today, Im writing about last Friday, Saturday and today... which is Tuesday. Firstly, Friday.
Im not gonna tell you too much about school hours. Ok, after school, I packed my bag and went downstairs. I expected Abdul Aziz to be there but to my shock, he laready left. Went back upstairs to find Luqman Nur but he had also left. Wow... such good friends, I have. That day, we, and I think you know who I am referring to, decided to play basketball. Luqman Hakim, Haziq and Abdul Rahman would be late cause they had an Additional Maths test after school. So, when I did arrive at Abdul Aziz's house, I met b
oth him and Luqman Nur. When we reached the court, I found some other secular studenst playing too. 3 Chinese teens invited us to play a match with them. So it was 3-vs-3. They were pretty good. I got a lot of possession during the match. There was this really tall guy who shot from very far and almost always scored. There was another guy who was a bit taller than me who ran around the hoop area and would score if the other guy didnt. The third one stayed around the outer hoop area. He was my height but his shots were awesome. Well, Luqman Nur was like our main scorer maintaining the ball wherever he could. Abdul Aziz was the receiver, always getting the ball and navigating through the opponent. I just tried to steal the ball, dodging and weaving, mostly having fun.

After that, went to Abdul Aziz's house and did our Asar prayers and checked out SA videos. And that was Friday.
On Saturday, my mother and I visited my sick grandmother. Talked for about an hour and a half before leaving for the Sudden Attack Competition at Ang Mo Kio. My mother stayed behind. The competition started at 1pm but our match was like... all the way at 3pm!!! So, Haziq, his brothers Hazim and Harraz, along with Abdul Aziz and I played SA for about an hour just to warm up. When we did play, there was no competition. The opponent was so good and they were all silver-coloured grades... so, I guess it was a bit of a downturn. Did our prayers at Al-Muttaqin mosque and then played another hour at another Cyber Cafe. I played extremely well... maybe cause I was in the mood. Went home with Abdul Aziz, riding Bus No. 162, and returned to my abode... only to continue with playing SA. A day of SA.
So what happened today on Tuesday? I'll tell you... Had my Arabic and Nahu tests today. It was ok. After the tests, continued the day with Physics. Had a good time then cause I got to answer some questions correctly, with Mdm Surianah watching over me. Lunch was brilliant and to add to that was our short trip to Multi-Purpose Room 3 during English classes. Zuhr prayers ended with the start of Quran class. We memorised some surahs together as a class. With that, we finished the lesson and Ustd Azhari entered the class. He didnt teach us today cause he wanted us to get ready for tomorrow's test. During the last 15min of school hours, I took the initiative to clean up the class. Bukhari followed suit and some others helped. I tried my best in maintaining cleanliness in my class. Praise be to Allah, my class got a green grade again. I was like shocked to see a red grade for S3 Bukhara. I laughed and so did the others around. Namely, Abdur Rahman Yassin, Adam, Sofiah and Nur. Nur giggled when I took a photo of the proof and set it as my phone's wallpaper. Had an awesome time during PT classes. Did my Asar prayers afterwards and went back home, happy and with a smile on my face...

Cheery
Today was topsy-turvy. What should have been a session of tilawah was replaced by a kind of talk at the mosque about Nisfu Syaa'ban (Halfway through the month of Syaa'ban) by Ustd Mahzan. He taught us to do good things during this day and that Allah s.w.t is very forgiving for this day. After the talk, we did Dzikir, led by Ustd Dzarif and Ustd Idgham. Very good. Unfortunately, our recess was held back for 1 and a half hour. So, we went to class and had Fiqh lessons with Ustd Mahzan. We studied 'Wakaalah' which wasnt so bad. Then, we went for recess. I had one packet of Lemon Tea before going back up. Had half and hour of English class. I already finished my work so I pretty much enjoyed the class. Before lunch, I had Geography lesson. Mr Ismail only wanted to do revision and write our corrections in our exercise books. I got only a few mistakes so again, had a good time.
During lunch, I made the mistake of drinking two packets of Lemon Tea. I almost puked but I held my nerves. Umar offered to help me. We took the opportunity to ride the lift cause I was seriously holding back whatever was in my stomach. I loosened up when I reached class. There, the Secondary 3 Bukhara guys joined our Dikir Barat group. I was like... shocked!!! We were going through with the Dikir Barat performance??? I quickly got in my position and we revised our moves. Ustd Salehin entered class and he gave us half an hour to practise. Half an hour later, Ustd Salehin returned to class and did some work. Afterwards, half an hour of Tafsir. Did nothing much. Then, I did my Zuhr prayers.
During 'White Space' period, our group comprising of Secondary 3 Andalusians and Bukharans did our performance. I was too serious but haha... It felt great finally doing it. The Secondary 5 Andalusians' performance was much more creative but with easier moves. I liked their starting intro. Great time, that was. The female groups are on next week.
Went back to class and cleaned up the class. Saw Nur looking in my direction and smiled, giving her a thumbs-up, signifying how happy I felt after the performance. I also congratulated Ilyas for finishing all this fiasco. Muhammad sent me the video of our performance and saw my seriousness... haha!!!
Do good deeds and umm... smile always!

Weak
I woke up feeling so tired. Went to school with an aching body. Hmm... I think I can last the day, hopefully I can stand the feeling of weakness. Started the day with Nahu where we wrote the I'rab for one long sentence. It was ok. Had recess and then continued the day with Malay. Had some groupwork where we stated the good things living in Singapore and in other countries. Did good on it. After Malay, Maths class started. Revised 'Congruency & Similarity'. Was a bit tired but I struggled to stay up and finally succeeded. Afterwards, I had Physics classes with Mdm Surianah. I was a bit confused and to add to that was a somewhat disappointed Mdm Surianah looking at my work during class. Sigh...
Had lunch and then, English class. Ms Amnah was absent again. I hope she's well cause she hasnt been around lately. The usual relief teacher, Ms Farhana (If Im not wrong), entered the class. Since I already did my composition and my comprehension work, I talked with Luqman Nur. Next, I did my Zuhr prayers and later, started with Quran. Memorised the last page of Surah As-Sajdah. Hooray!!!
Last lesson of the day was an hour of Nahu. Read a text, each person reading a line with the use of correct I'rab. I did very well. Lucky, I guess... Alhamdulillah. After ending the assembly, I went to the canteen with Muhammad, Luqman Nur and Luqman Hakim. I drank two umm... packets of Lemon Tea and went back upstairs to help out with the PT class. There, the Secondary 2's were studying Pythagoras Theorem which I am glad I was good at. Did my Asar prayers after the class and went back home.
At home, during Maghrib prayers, I saw the true journey of life and saw everything in a new light. May Allah s.w.t the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful forgive me if I was ever sinful. Forfeited the Dikir Barat competition cause I found out its tomorrow. Sigh... I had never been in a Dikir Barat performance and now, well... sigh. Alas, maybe some other time.

Survivors
Im fasting today. Which is going to seem irrelevant until the day continues.
Let me start off by saying what a wonderful day it is today. Well, the day started good. I watched Step Up 2 on my handphone in the morning. When it was time to assemble, there was only 7 people in class. I was astonished as to the near silence of the class. When assembly ended, the student leaders on duty returned to class. With an addition of 4 more classmates who were late, it seemed a bit more full. So it starts with 17 students from a total of 25 members.
Start of the day, delved into an Al-Quran quiz paper given by Ustd Ruzi. It was ok. Recess announced and I went to the canteen bringing a book named 'Myths & Legends' which I borrowed from Taufiq. There, I sat beside Luqman Nur with Luqman Hakim facing me. He offered me food which I denied. He thought I wasnt eating because Abdul Rahman Aziz didnt come so I revealed the fact that I was fasting. He kept on saying sorry after that. Went upstairs to continue reading. Recess ended with the beginning of Tafsir. Ustd Ruzi wanted us to memorise any texts or verses from our notes, page 17-20. I felt like reading a book in class was rude so I had to do justice before doing so. I memorised a page which took a rather short time. All just to read a book. And might I say, it had 298 pages and I had to finish it by today... AND I borrowed it just today too. Ustd Ruzi commented from afar what I was reading. Fine... I guess I'll memorise another page. And I did which took around 10min. Not so bad. Finally, I curled up in my corner and started reading. Malay lessons was next. At that time, one of "us" left... it was Hanafiah. He had to go home cause he had high temperatures. I changed today's board readings from 17 present to 16. "16 more...", said Taufiq. The whole class laughed. During Malay, we did our exercise books. Not too much info on that. Afterwards, it was Chemistry class. Today, we went to the lab. Did experiments on 'Covalent & Ionic Compunds'. I did very hard in trying as much as I could to help. And I did! One time, when I was using the sugar for mixing, I took a pinch of it... I forgot and when I finaly realised, I was so ashamed. Sigh... When Chemistry class ended, I did my Chemistry worksheet during Lunch. Then, there was Lughah class where, due to the shortage in numbers, we played games. '007Bang' and '123Boom!'. I had a blast playing. After Zuhr prayers, another of the brethren left. Umar had to go home cause I think he also had high temperatures. Then there were 15. Haha... it was so funny. Learned some Mathematical-type Faraidh with Ustd Mahzan. I understood a bit. Lastly, Tauhid class was relieved by Ustd Khalid. Maybe Ustzh Rabiah was sick. We had a fun time listening to Ustd Khalid's history speech about the Khalifahs.
So, I fear for tomorrow cause its my Maths test tomorrow. Also, please read Al-Fatihah for the mother of Hajar, whose mother died yesterday. May Allah s.w.t accept her. Oh and my neighbor's dog, Yuki, died a few days ago. The first dog I ever had a liking to has died.
Well, wish me luck for tomorrow's test.

Catching Up
Sorry I haven't been updating much. Im either too busy or too lazy to bother blogging. But hey, I am doing it now. Where to start?
Well, let's start with Friday. I saw the Student Leader Pledge and the new SL's. Good luck to them... Owing to the change in schedule for that day, our recess was pushed back 1 and a half hour later. Mostly everyone in my class whined about the late dismissal but after some time, they only grovelled on their desks. Had Mustolah Hadith. Got half of the info being said but I'll need some revisions. Only half hour of Faraidh and after the "long-awaited" recess, continued with the day with Maths. After that, Friday prayers and sermon which was about "Tawadhu' in a Leader". It was ok. Planned on going to Abdul Aziz's house at around 4pm. We (Luqman Nur, Haziq, Abdul Rahman Aziz and I) parted ways midway. I went to visit my grandmother at Toa Payoh, promising to meet my mother there. Luqman Nur stayed at school. Haziq had dzikir barat practise and Abdul Rahman had to go home. I left my grandmother's house at around 3.45pm and went on my journey. Arrived at Abdul Aziz's house somewhere around 4.20pm. Luqman Nur had arriced already. Sigh... basketball was full so we just played SuddenAttack at Abdul Aziz's house. Haziq arrived last. Well, that was all history.
Saturday was... well, bit sad. I was at home, alone. My cousins went to watch 'Harry Potter 6'. My mother had gone out with my other cousin. My father was working and well... it was just me. So, no need to talk bout it much. Ooh, and I chatted with Shazaa for a long time... Thats going into my phone bill...
On Sunday, I went to the Career Awareness Program. 6 hours of talks. It wasnt so bad. The most memorable talk was from this Malaysian guy who works on RTM and TV3, if Im not wrong. Mr Ahmad Fadzli Yusof. He reminded me very well of Gilderoy Lockhart with his bouncy way of speaking and his... you know, umm, uniqeness. Got a certificate of praticipation at the end of the session and I took a photo of Bukhara's class using Ruzaini's camera. Rode Bus No.8 with Haziq. The both of us slept through the journey because we were so tired. Arrived home, did my prayers and then went to the 'Pasar Malam' around my house area. Again, returned home and watched 'Lord of the Rings' on my computer.
Today, had a bad day, all because of my runny nose. Dont worry, I dont have... you know what. I have morning signus (Is that how its spelled?) and unfortunately, it became not morning sickness but a whole day. During the reading of the Ma'thurat, the class was being rowdy. I wanted to raise my voice but I had to be patient and wait for the right time. When I couldnt take and felt like I was on the verge of crying, I instantly ran for the toilet but some of my classmates were in there. When I returned, Mr Roslan had entered... lucky me then. Tilawah was no different. Which reminds me, I left my Quran at school. Gonna get it back tomorrow. Recess and afterwards had English class. Boy, was I uncomfortable. Ms Amnah scolded us because we were misbehaving. Malay class wasnt so bad. Maths was a blur. I was trying my best not to let my sleepy head take me. I fought it as hard as I could. I succeeded after about 15min and was a bit dazed. Luckily, I got what Mr Roslan taught us. Hifz class was ok. Lunch and then Hadith class. Wasnt so bad. After Zuhr prayers, I had Lughah classes which was awesome. Groupwork. Got to see just one episode of 'The Arrivals' which was ok. Luqman Nur sent me the movie 'Step Up 2' after school and now I am better. Ate my medicine just now and am currently watching 'Kingdom of Heaven' whilst blogging this very entry.

P.S.: I am quote writer for my class...hehe. Maybe I'll upload a few photos in the coming entries.

An Omen?
The longest total solar eclipse of the 21st Century occurred today. For the first time, I did a total solar eclipse prayer. It was ok. Heard the khutbah after the intense prayer and then went back to class shortly afterwards. With Fiqh lessons gone, English class started. We had discussions about money and all the words associated with it. After English, had an hour of Geography. Studied the last few topics about climate change. It was interesting. Had lunch and after that, while waiting for Ustd Salehin, Abdur Rahman Yassin, Adam and Ziyan talked with this African guy who studied at Damascus. The man and Abdur Rahman Yassin talked fluently in Arabic. I didnt even understand a word they said, which made me feel terrible. Awfully terrible. Went back inside class and a few minutes later, Ustd Salehin arrived. Memorised words from the story about Singapore. After that, I had Tafsir class, only half an hour though. Then, Zuhr prayers before I spent my White Space period to practise my dikir barat moves with the other boys of Andalusia. Went home alone... Sigh... life is passing by so fast.

Rehearsals and Games
Today, I had a good time.
We started the day with the rehearsals for the Irsyad carnival. It ended around 9am. There, my class went for recess. I dunno if it was but I just bought a drink and then went back up. When Fiqh classes started, Ustd Mahzan was so surprised that about 2/3 of the class was not present. I offered to find them. I knew exactly where they were... sneeking peaks at the Auditorium. I told them and we all rushed back, me being fine cause I wasnt late. Had a good session studying. Then came Mathematics class which wasnt so bad. We learned 'Profit & Loss' and 'Taxation' with Mr Roslan and I quite enjoyed the period. After that, Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz and I went straight to the mosque. Did our sunnat prayers and then started to zikir. It was ok. Got a glimpse of Mr Yaacob Ibrahim, the Mufti and this one other person-in-charge. Can you believe that whilst they are praying, the photographers take dozens of photos? Talk about no privacy...
Had a Friday sermon concerning the topic 'Compassion of a Leader'. I learned a lot from it. May I be good enough to be a leader.
At the end of the day, Abdul Aziz invited Haziq, Luqman Hakim and I to play basketball as usual. Luqman Nur couldnt come cause he had some other business outside. But first, Luqman Hakim, along with Haziq and Luqman Nur were at Multi-Purpose Room 1... playing with the Nintendo Wii, again. I grabbed a book from one of the racks in the room and read it while waiting for them to finish.
At the court, it was blistering hot. We got tired easily. But the game was memorable. Here's what happened...
"We were choosing to see who was teaming up with who. We decided to see who could score first, like always. The first two would be the first team. I got teamed up with Abdul Aziz, whereas Haziq paired up with Luqman Hakim.
I got really active, running everywhere. 5min passed and still the score was [0-0]. When I got the ball this time, I thought quick. Luqman Hakim was just in front of me while Haziq was marking Abdul Aziz. I ran towards the direction of Abdul Aziz, feigning a pass. Instantly, I whizzedto the left but spun back to the right to shake off Luqman Hakim. It worked. I did my 'signature move' and fortunately, I scored. The score was [1-0]. And to think we wanted to end the game at 7 points. We started and tried to capitalise the match. With great tenacity, Haziq managed to get the ball and scored a spectacular throw, earning his team a point. Abdul Aziz and I had to win. We tried to shoot from far, the other person being at the other end of the hoop. It failed and this time, Luqman Hakim took the opportunity and scored another point. The score was [2-1]... in their favour. I signalled time out. The four of us sat down and drank our drinks. 5min later, the game resumed. Abdul Aziz fought back ferociusly, whilst I chased the ball. Amazingly, Abdul Aziz was in a great spot. He jumped and sent the ball flying... into the hoop! We scored!!! The score was [2-2]. All of us decided that this was going to be the last point. The first to 3 was gonna be the winner. We ran and ran and ran but eventually, I got my moment and shot the ball, aiming the inner box of the board so that the ball would bounce into the hoop. It did! We won! Woohoo!!!
Then we packed our stuff and headed for the residence of Safudin."
Phew... it was tiring. VERY tiring. I was shaking. Arrived at his house and started playing Sudden Attack Sea. It was awesome. Got a taste of being a sniper. Once, I sniped a guy in the head just with one shot. Lucky, I guess. Did my Asar prayers afterwards and after that, more playing. Luqman Hakim left at 5.35pm. At about 6pm, Haziq and I decided to go home. It was a fun day. Tomorrow... Sudden Attack!!!

King of Pop
Michael Jackson, King of Pop... finally rests. As said by millions of other fans in the world, I will miss you, Michael Jackson.
I remember when I was still young. I especially loved watching his concerts. I danced and sang along to his music. It was he who brought the love of singing to me. My childhood, then, was always revolving around singing. At that time, I wanted to grow up to become a singer. If Im not wrong, I sang in front of my class when I was Primary 2. It felt great.
When I first heard the news of him passing away, I was so shocked and of course, devastated. The person who I felt was going to be there forever, died. Rumors circle if he did become a Muslim. All I can say is that may Allah the Most Gracious, Most Merciful accept his soul.
Since then, the world seems to be missing something. Even though I never met him, its like part of my childhood went away. Alas, life goes on.
So, my prayers be with this great man who brought music and love to me.

Carnival Preparations
Today, a starting period of Tilawah gave me a bit of a headache. I continued to read but the headache worsened. I stopped for a while and read the Quran, a few more pages. Had a short recess. Got a short talk about the carnival after recess. Unfortunately, I also have to help out. Not that I dont want to help... just that I wanted to take pictures. Anyway, I had Fiqh classes next and I had a good time listening. English next and also, good lesson. Had Geography afterwards and boy, that seemed a bit quicker than usual. Then lunch. Did nothing. Lughah period half hour after the start of lunch. Just discussed about this week's topic, Singapore and its new generation. After Lughah, I had Tafsir classes. I read out my translated verse which Ustd Ruzi told me to do. Zuhr prayers. Had a bit of a laugh with the Secondary 4 boys. Lastly, we had another talk but this time by Mr Muneer... regarding the carnival. Went upstairs after that, packed my bag and after assembly, went for my ICAS Writing paper. I did ok, I guess. After all that, I did my Asar prayers alone and went to Multi-Purpose Room 1. There, I joined Luqman Nur, Luqman Hakim, Haziq, Shazaa, Hijannah and her friend. I was in the mood to talk with them, you know... after a long while, kinda wanna just have a short chat. These people were the ones helping Mr Ismam cause they had Nintendo Wii which I heard was gonna be used at the carnival. I proceeded to look at the variety of games when Luqman Hakim said, "Oh no no, Dollah". Its like he's treating me like a child. Well, after just going through a test paper, I was a bit crabby and said, "I know when Im not wanted..." and I left. Zulfaqar asked me what I was doing for the carnival. Told him my duty and said that I wanted to help Mr Izzad take pictures. To my dismay, Ruzaini got the role. Not that Im mad at him but I never get that role. When Abdul Aziz was at Irsyad, he was the one. When he left, Ruzaini got the part. How many people must leave before I get to help?
Sigh, Im happy for everyone but at the same time, mad and crabby...

Free Periods
Started the day with Nahu. Clueless but trying to understand. Sigh... Got a bit of what was taught. Spent my recess in the library reading about Winston Churchill. Ended recess and was supposed to have Malay classes when I was informed that Cikgu Iskandar was absent. So, I just talked with Taufiq, Bukhari and Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz. On came Mathematics were I learned about compound interest. Interesting...
An hour later, I had Physics classes. Again, another teacher was not present. It wasn't because Mdm Surianah was sick or anything, just that she was helping the "award-winners" rehearse for the Haflah, if Im not wrong. So, what was left of the class played word games... you know, guess what the person in front wrote. It was fun. I found out that guys were smarter than girls in general knowledge. I mean, who doesnt know Adolf Hitler??? Ok, fine... maybe they're not as interested as worldly events as guys but who cares. Had lunch but this time, I just sat outside in the corridors. English lesson but yet another teacher was absent. And yes, Ms Amnah was absent. About half an hour into the lesson, Cikgu Zainab entered and wanted to tell us a story. Ended halfway but I already knew the story. Told the others and then did some other meaningless stuff. Zuhr prayers. Did that and went back up to find Ustd Ruzi in class. Quran lesson, that was. Lastly, a serving of Nahu which made me tongue-twisted and mind-boggled as ever. Why didnt I concentrate when I was young?
On my way home from school, I saw that the sky was getting dark so I took Bus No. 13 and stopped at Bishan's Prime. To my delight, I met Abdul Aziz in his school uniform. Talked a bit and bade him goodbye, sending my good wishes to his family.
Today, I helped to stand up for the rights and justice of a fellow Muslim. My classmates will know though anyone not a classmate need not know of the worries of my class. And, I also sulked at the fact that the award winners were the same old faces. Ok, maybe the teachers think it will boost our morale by challenging one another... I dont think so. Its a bit demoralizing that the smarts get all the glory. Why cant we have awards for 'Best Neatly Dressed' or 'Most Punctual' or 'Best Conversatiionist'? These small things could make us lesser people feel like...
"Hey, I did do this. Im so glad that people recognised me" And it is these small things that can mean more. Its not always the smart and brilliant that get all the glory. Its those others behind the spotlight, those people dont look at. What people call... Hidden Talent...

Action
What can I do?
Everywhere, news of disease, war, disasters.
But in no way can I help. I can only pray. Thats just it, isnt it? I... cant stand to just sit and do nothing. I want to help! I do! But unless there's like a free booth for people who want to help people in need. Here I am in my room with the comforts of everyday life whereas other people have to fight for food or protect their loved ones from whatever rebellion in the world there is. I feel so helpless. I feel so sick to the core... Sigh... What can I do?
Thats the question that needs answered...

Sincerity
By the end of the day, I was tired but still eager to help. We all had dinner at the kampung house for the last time and then left for the house at Pulai, my Cousin Yanie's house. Its a private bungalow house. It was nice. And soon... zzz
Third and last day. Cousin Yanie, Cousin Ya'kob and I went back to the kampung house to take the huge stuff. The trick came again but this time, the furniture were brought to the house at Pulai. Yesterday, we took the furniture to the flat house. There, I did my last prayers there. My Dhuha prayers. It felt sad parting with the house cause I've been there since I was small. After we arrived at the house at Pulai, the driver asked me to climb up the truck to give the stuff to the people below. I was ecstatic. I got to go on the truck! Hehe... helped and soon, cleaned up. Everyone sat down and Cousin Yanti thanked me for helping... so did the others. It so happens that whenever I helped, I lost me weaknesses. Praise be to Allah. My Mother told me, "A sincere heart is a strong one..." And I left for Singapore liking Malaysia. Haha... what a turn of events!!!
My 15th Gregorian Birthday
Its come then... a 1/4 of my life has passed and what have I to be proud of? Im constantly shadowed by my friends and always left out because... well, people dont like being around. But today, rest assure that I will spend the day with the closest of people... my family.
I asked Mother not to do anything grand for me. Really, it isnt that important. So anyway, it was a Saturday, and my father was working. My two cousins and their two children had gone out and left me at home alone. Mother had gone to the market so she wouldnt be home for a few hours. Sigh... Im all alone, I thought.
Towards the end of the day, my Mother showed me a simple square cake... which she had made herself. Oh, I felt so happy that she cared. But alas, my world is small... and anyway, I had a surprise for the family.
Few hours later...
The clock signalled 8pm. Neither my father nor my cousins were home. I felt as if they didnt want me, I gave a small chuckle to cheer myself up. Suddenly, a calling of 'Assalamualaikum' reverberated throughout the house. Father was home! I hugged him and went back to my original seating place at the sofa. Half an hour passed by and my cousins were still not home. So, my parent decided we just cut the cake and be on with it. My parents sang a malay version of a happy birthday song. You know... "Allah selamatkan kamu"? Yeah, that one. I cut the cake and the three of us ate some pizza. 15 minutes passed before my cousins returned. I was like... great, now you show up. But a smile sufficed which showed my real feelings. We ate together. That night, I slept content.

S3 Mini Bazaar 2009
Sigh...
Sorry for being late and all. I havent been writing because I havent had the opportunity to do so. And so, I will start writing what I should have wrote half a month ago...
I arrived at the school, a bit later than Ziyan. He took the bus today so I guess its fair that he waits for me this time. As we placed our bags at the void deck, along came Luqman Nur. Together, we went to the canteen. There, I brandished my infamous camera and took a few pictures in the morning, just to warm-up. It wasnt until the sun rose until I realized that my 'omph' for taking pictures was gone. Ok... more like, there wasnt the feeling of enthusiasm, the lust for taking pictures. But anyway, I just went on hoping that I'd find that feeling.
Sorry for being late and all. I havent been writing because I havent had the opportunity to do so. And so, I will start writing what I should have wrote half a month ago...
So anyway, went downstairs and after the assembly, helped to prepare the booths. I didnt find anything amusing. I didnt know what to do. I wanted to take pictures but I didnt feel like it. I also wanted to take the pictures of other booths but I was a bit shy with all the girls around. Most of the guys were at the X-Box booth, not surprising. So, I simply tried to give a helping hand wherever needed. I helped blow up balloons. Afterwards, Ilyas dragged me upstairs to help decorate Rifqi and Bukhari's face. They were our class mascots. I went up and down, up and down, up and down... It was tiring.
Well after that, Ziyan, Adam, Abdur Rahman Yassin and I walked around the school and checked out the booths. It was ok. I tried my luck on the dart board and scored a bulls-eye! Im serious! It wasnt a fluke... though, only Hanafiah saw me. Bad timing, I guess. We went up and down the school, talked with people, venture around places... fun, it was. So, after hours and hours of fun, along with a few moments of prayer and ibadah, I ended the day with a gratifying smile.

Soccer Mania
Yesterday, my cousin returned from his voyage from the coasts of Malaysia. Along with his two sons and wife, my cousin went over to my house and that's when the fun started. My cousin and his wife simply talked with my mother. Meanwhile, my two nephews, along with the two extra ones went outside to play badminton. Unfortunately, two of my nephews didnt know how to play so we went back home and took a ball instead. When we did get back home, it started to rain. The sound of thunder churned the sky into a dark swirl of menacing clouds. Fearful of lightning, my four nephews and I sat down at the arm-bend outside of my house. After the pouring eased, we got back to the void deck. An old man told us we couldnt play there so we went to the playground behind my house instead. We played 'Poison Ball' and had a blast. We played for about an hour an a half before going back home to rest at the arm-bend again, Did our Zuhr prayers and went to the field this time to play soccer. I had a great time running around. After an hour, went back home to have a drink and perform our Asar prayers. Went out again. This time, my other cousin went with us. He's aboout 25+ so its no wonder his team had the other hand. They scored 4-0 until an opportunity arose and one of my nephews passed a ball in my direction and I shot a thunder bolt whirling through the air straight to my cousin. Score! My two nephews on my team were umm... not much a help. One was too young and the other, occassionally hurt. I tried my best being keeper and at the same time, an attacker. We played till dusk. It ended with the score 14-6... to my cousin. Did our Maghrib prayers and then ate KFC. Played ball for pretty much the whole day...

Lazing Around
First of all, met up with Luqman Nur and Ziyan Emir. Went up to the canteen as soon as we arrived. Talked, read my book and did some other stuff. Assembly. Classes. The whole of Secondary 3 were told to go to Multi-Purpose Room 3 where we met Ustd Azhari and our Nahu papers. Got a disappointing 39%. Almost everyone got around that average. Then recess. Did my Dhuha prayers with Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz and Zulfaqar, as usual. Then classes. I got to go through my Mustolah Hadith exam paper. I did extremely well. Well, in my standards, its very good. I got a satisfying 89.5%, and boy was I elated. Afterwards, the Pure Science students went to Multi-Purpose 3 to check our Chemistry paper. A bit happy and relieved to be able to escape the pandemonium of the class. Overall, I got a pleasing 80% for my paper. Unfortunately, as always, Im always one of the bottom of the class. Sigh... At least I didnt fail, right?
Came back to class only to see our Fiqh and Faraidh papers returned to Ustd Mahzan. I got to see my marks though. For Fiqh, I got 85% and for Faraidh, a saddening 76.5%. Ok, I know its a good mark but I wanted to do excellently on that paper cause I wanted to make Ustd Mahzan proud. I didnt want to let him down. But alas, my marks proved my work.
Got my Maths paper next. It was a blow to my head when I got it. Overall, a humiliating 53% from what should've been at least 70%. I dreamt too much but I did try. But just the pressure of doing a paper set by Mr Rahmat makes me nervous. Next term then. Second to last, I got my Tauhid papers. I got a very pleasing 95% and even Ustzh Rabiah commented on my good marks. I was so happy.
At the mosque, we had Ustd Ahmad Dahriy (Is that spelled correctly?) doing the Friday sermon. He's the guy who gives the sermon after Subuh prayers. My mother and I always listen to it, clinging to every word. Well, we had to wait 2 hours to get our Additional Maths paper cause Mr Rahmat had meetings and stuff. I played 'Duel Masters' and watched 'Step Up 2: The Streets' in class, along with Helmi, Haziq, Luqman Hakim, Abdul Rahman Abd Aziz and Farid to accompany me in Secondary 3 Andalusia. The girls took over Secondary 3 Bukhara. Had a fun time waiting. I cleaned the class and arranged the tables neatly too, which gave me the pleasing feeling of satisfaction. When we did get my papers, I was like... "Here it goes...". Well you know what? I got a Christiano Ronaldo on my paper. It was over 80. Find Ronaldo's jersey number and you'll get the number of my marks. Sad, ain't it? Lowest... sigh, thinking of quitting but Mr Rahmat wouldnt let me, says Hafizuddeen. So... prolonging the torment? Haha, just kidding. Mr Rahmat is a great teacher. Just that he's too fast for my type. I guess Im just not meant to be with the 'smarts'...
