Happy Birthday to Shifa' who I hope will make proud her family and friends. Also, I got word that the boys seem to like me best out of the 3 elder dudes who came. Haha, whatdya know?
Peace and wassalam...
P.S. If you're wondering what was removed, it was the pictures. Yes, boohoo..
Shifa's Birthday

After that, Hadi, Hijannah and I climbed a tree.. I wish Irsyad had a tree like that. I'd climb it everyday. Ruzaini fell on my board whilst going down the slope. I already told him not to go up so high but he insisted on doing so and in the end, he gained 2 scars.. (The ones like Luqman Nur had when he fell using my board). Haha, it seems that my board is 'sway'.
One thing I found most annoying was that Luqman was being over-flirtatious. I was like.. "Dude, stop it cause you're pissing me off!" But what could I do? He was entertaining all 4 girls with his jokes while I kept quiet, accompanying Hadi. I just gritted my teeth. Didnt want people calling me a NATO (No Action Talk Only) .. Some of them asked why I was being quiet. I said I was fine and all but I guess after reading this, you'll probably know. Hijannah stayed behind at the Gardens to meet up with some other friends. We also met Fauzan, an ex-Irsyadian. Dunno what he was doing there. All of us minus Hijannah took Bus No. 7 to Far East and then walked the second half of the journey. I had an opportunity to talk with Shaakira. One thing to add to the misery.. Orchard was bustling with people! Haha, we were waddling here and there like penguins. After prayers, Luqman Nur, Ruzaini and Shaakira went to grab a bite.. (Sheesh!)
Meanwhile, Shazaa, Shifa', Hadi, Adib and I went back home. At the Somerset train station, all of us were talking and we looked like one big family. Shazaa and me, the elder siblings. The other 3 were the younger siblings. Shazaa and I just kept smiling each other as we listened to our juniors talk. We were talking and talking and then, it was time for me to go.
All in all, I did have a good day. My feet are sore but hey, I got to hang out with my friends. And isnt that just fun?
Wassalam...

Fabulous Friday
*Random dancing*
Awesomeness.. I love fridays. I get to go to school and meet my teachers and friends as well as enjoy a free day. Its such a perfect mix! Well, I had a good time during class today. Rest, talk, play, study.. Especially during Contact time where some of the class played 'Limbo'. Cikgu Iskandar laughed along with us. Another group of students help decorated the class and it looked awesome! We got a curtain now.. (Hahaha!)
After school, Muhammad and I went to AMK Hub and bought a gurkha each. I got the black and white while Muhammad got himself the black and red. I went back to school alone and met up with Luqman Nur. Thought that we were gonna be waveboarding but we found out that Mr Izzad was going to Athletics training. Luqman Nur and I went back home. We were thinking of going to the new Bazaar beside An-Nahdhah Mosque but then we decided to go another time.
Got back home and just sat in my room. Chatted to Syuhada, Shaakira, Shazaa and Hijannah at night and some short convos with Ruzaini and Abdul Aziz.
Its 12.53am now and I think I'll call it a day..

Being Passive
Anyway, today was quite ok.
I was elected leader for my group during Arabic lesson. To add to that, I got a couple of quiet people in the group so discussion ideas mainly come from me. Haha, things were easier when I was in my previous group.
I was extremely sleepy during Insya' with Ustd Abdus Salam and during the English lesson with Mr Esmadi. I tried my best to wake up by making excuses to stand up and walk around. It did help and I regained my focus. Irshad took up our class since Ustzh Rohana was busy for today so nevermind. He seemed quite calm and wasnt forceful.
Maths with Mr Izzad was assured to be enjoyable. Lastly, Malay class with Cikgu Iskandar was a blast. Everyone in class laughed together. We talked about musical instruments and then we had some silat "performances" for Cikgu Iskandar. Haha, loved it!
After school, I searched my class for Shazaa's file. It appears she left it in our class, or so she said. Tried to look every corner of the room but it was clear her file wasnt there. Sigh.. sorry Shazaa.
Went next door to S4 Bukhara and met up with Bukhari, Farid, Hafiz and some of the girls. They were telling these jokes which left Bukhari and I blurr. Haha, I felt like an idiot when everyone else started smiling when they got the joke. I was like... "What???"
I accompanied Bukhari and Farid till the mosque before turning back and heading for the canteen. They, on the other hand, were going home. And so I went upstairs and was greeted by dozens and dozens of students, mostly S3's.. One of the girls called me and was teasing bout "something".. I just gave her an incredulous look and chuckled to myself. Luqman Nur, Ali and I started doing our work. When 'Asr prayers commenced, we hurried downstairs to join the jama'ah. Returned back to the canteen and continued with our stuff. Slowly, the numbers dwindled till only some S2's and s3's were left. Shaakira and Aza were there too since they had some revisions with Mr Izzad. Somehow, the 3 of us got bored and listened to songs. Nobody else bothered us anyway so we continued singing and dancing along to the tune.
Then when Mr Izzad wanted to leave for his army training, he confronted the 3 of us and asked if we could help Shaakira and Aza if any assistance was needed..
Mr Izzad : Do you remember about sets?
Luqman : Yeah, thats where a' minus... (some maths stuff)
Ali : Having to do with circles inside the circles, right?
Me : *Scratches head* I can help if there's a book about it.. :D
Haha, seriously.. I was pretty much blank.
I got to dance with Syafiq (Hannah's brother) to the song 'Come Fly With Me'. I lead the dance.. HAHAHA! Ok, it seemed a bit gay.. :D
Walked home with Luqman Nur and went on our own ways. Slept in the bus and wow.. I miss the days when I didnt have homework at the back of my mind!
Haha, peace to all..

Morning Routine
As I stepped out of the bathroom, the cool morning breeze froze my exposed skin. Shivering slightly, I returned to my room and put on my school uniform. Just as I finished buttoning my shirt, the call for prayer signalled the morning prayer of Subh. I rolled out my prayer mat and gave the takbir..
After Subh, I picked up my bag and went to the door. With haste, I put on my double-knotted school choes and bade my mother goodbye.
Everyday, I would leave the house with my father. We would enjoy the silence of dawn. In my heart, I read the Ma'thurat, hoping that the day would be better after reading it. When we arrived at the bus stop, there were a lot of people. Buses came and went, and it wasnt soon before my father and I parted. I was on my way to school.."
And thats how every morning starts off, people.. =)
Salam and peace to all..
Its been a good day today. Well, on some parts it was...
In the morning, the whole class (excluding Helmi and Taufiq) had to stand up during Faraidh class for not completing the 'Aslul Mas-Alah' of our previous week's assignment. I felt sad for Ustd Idham who tried so hard to motivate us and push us.
After recess, I had English lesson which was very much enjoyable. The class also got to learn life values as told by Mr Esmadi. Next, we had Fiqh lesson with Ustd Idham (again!) .. This time, he asked everyone for their family tree which he had instructed us to do last week. The funny part was, I got thumped in the stomach by Ustd Idham for no reason. I had handed in my work but I guess Ustd Idham didnt read the names of the worksheets.. which were in his hand!
Soon after, the class had Hadith with Ustd Mahzan. We did groupwork and I was like so lazy at that time. I helped a bit in finding the main points of a text.. thats pretty much it.
Then, we had Malay class with Cikgu Iskandar where all of us (the class) completed our letter writing assignment.
After Zuhr prayers, I did some worksheets in Maths class. No singing today, hehe.. =)
During White Space Period, the S4's and S5's went to the Auditorium where we had a briefing on ACER Learning.. kind of a way we study maths on the internet. It was.. well.. uninteresting. But it does lessen the usage of papers so okaayy..
Did my 'Asr prayers after school and later helped Shazaa, Ezzati and their friends with their English project. I had to "give a talk" using my made-up accent which I found rather cheesy when saying among a few people. Haha, seriously cheesy!!! Shazaa thanked me afterwards which made it all worthwhile.. =)
Played with Mr Izzad's Ripstik at the 8th storey and then went home with Muhammad where we slept in Bus No. 13 ...
Eh, I miss Shazaa and Hijannah.. boohoo. If the two of you read this, I mean it.. =D
Signing out..
Wassalam..

Chill
I just wanna say that I feel much better today than yesterday.. =)
Well anyway, today, it dragged.. Haha, yes it did. Starting off with Hadith lesson, Ustd Mahzan was absent so I spent that free time just resting. During Al-Quran with Ustd Alaina, I had a good time sharing laughs with everyone. He was in a good mood anyway so I felt good around Ustd Alaina. After that, we had an hour of free period (again!) cause Ustd Salehin was absent too.. Played some childhood games with Ilyas, Luqman Nur and the others. Mustolah Hadith interrupted the good wave going but it was fine. Half an hour later, Physics class commenced.. I was SO sleepy that I drifted in and out of consciousness. Ziyan and Aisyah Said saw me and smiled. However, I fought back as best I could. Only with the help of Hafiz's massage did I get wake up call. I forced myself to sit up straight and that helped quite a lot. At the end of the lesson, Mdm Surianah explained to the class of the condition of the Pure Science Class. She motivated us and explained the current situation at hand. She also mentioned my name.. Haha, an "inspiring student".. All I could do was smile back at her.
After lunch, another supposed hour of free period until "Ustd" 'Arif entered the class. I quite enjoyed him being in class, trying to communicate with us. I dunno why most people dont like him.. Ok then. Afterwards, I did my Zuhr prayers and Geography class bookmarked the end of the day. Yeah, it was fun.
After school, I had athletics training with the othe Water Boys. It was bonding time, Haha.. Ruzaini led the training since there were only 8 of us at Yio Chu Kang Stadium. I had a good time. But then, I was disappointed after I was told my time. Managed 100m in 14.81 secs.. Sigh.
Nevermind, there's always room for improvement.
Oh yeah, I got a so-called "prank call".. (Hahaha!) ... In the end, I found out it was Shaakira, masterminded by Shazaa. Haha.. Eh, really.. I feel so distant from Shazaa and Hijannah right now. Seriously.. Haizz..
Got tons of assignments too so I guess till here then.. =)

"Shira Is Cute!"
Well umm, highlights..
There was the Qiyam at school which I found very exhilirating. I was one of those who stayed back at school and it was awesome! Badminton and Ripstiks! Haha, sweetness.. =)
Ok, Im gonna make it all shorter, ok? Both the S4's and P6's assembled at the void deck at around 6pm. Handed our handphones and then went for dinner. Maghrib followed afterwards and then the normal Qiyam activities. Munajat, reading of the quran and also reciting the Qasidah which I enjoyed very much. Isya' was performed after the whole session and then, we had study time. Haha, let me exaggerate "study time". It was more of talking and writing, thats all. Went to sleep at 11pm and at 2.15am, I woke up and well aah.. answered the call of nature. Before returning to bed, I went to the canteen and just enjoyed the calmness of the night. Went back to sleep after that. Less than 2 hours later, all of us woke up and did our Tahajjud prayers at the courtyard with Abdur Rahman leading the prayer. Subuh prayers at the mosque and a few hours later.. the Mukhayyam ended. Hafiz, Bukhari, Abdul Rahman Rahim and I were late cause we were busy bathing and ironing. Haha, who cares anyway?
Went for the Parent Meeting Session with the other S4's and listened to "motivational" stories in the Auditorium. Got a specimen copy of my would-be STE results. Played soccer, sepak takraw, Ripstik and skateboard after that. Also played 'Chase Bomb'.. something like that. What a wonderful day it was. But it didnt end there.. Mr Izzad treated Bukhari, Farid, Abdul Rahman Rahim and I to Pizza Hut. Sweetness.. =)
Back to the present, I was TERRIBLY moody today. Lost my temper with my class and walked around the school. When I came back, everyone tried to cheer me up which was ok. End of the day, Luqman Nur and I spent after-school hours together. I made a family tree for Fiqh.. =)
I was SUPER happy at the end of the day.. Sorry everyone for being so moody.
Saw Hijannah and Shazaa today, hehe.. Oh, and Shaakira is cute (Hahaha!)

Countless Plans
Its a Sunday today. Im finding hard not to smile because Im still remembering the day's before. Plus, Im listening to Michael Buble's song 'Haven't Met You Yet'. Haha, yes, its a good song.
But first, I would just like to give my condolences to Brother Adam from S5A for the loss of his father. May Allah s.w.t. give rahmah to his soul..
For starters, I think school is starting to pile up in work. And my mind isnt getting things solved either. Aaah.. homework's fine. Well, on Friday, I discussed with my class about the on-going decorations situation and also our Arabic Program. Yeah, I know its about 3 weeks away but who cares? Its better to be prepared than to be totally unaware of what to do.
After school, Luqman Nur and I, along with some other Irsyadians, waited for Abdul Aziz to play basketball. While Luqman Nur and the others waited at various places, Muhammad invited me to go to Junction 8 with him. He wanted to buy something for Aishah-Tul and then return back to school. I thought about it.. since I was looking at "her" (Not Aishah-Tul) ... Haha, well, Muhammad is my good friend so I went with him. We walked swiftly and talked about stuff. I dont quite remember. Oh yeah, some Indonesians came to our school. You know the new Irsyad in Indonesia? Yeah well, the students flew all the way here to see our school. The SL's were excused from class cause they had to escort the visitors. Anyway, the guys saw this cute Indonesian girl.. haha. I thought she was about 17 or 18 years old but Shazaa told me she was 13!
Wow, she was tall..
Back to me and Muhammad.. we arrived at Junction 8 and went straight to the 4th storey. Muhammad was buying his cute plushie toy which Aishah-Tul wanted. Then, we had to ride the MRT cause Aishah asked to meet us at Braddell. So we met her there and then ran back to school, huffing and puffing when we arrived.
Minutes passed and 'Asr came. So we all went down to perform our 'Asr prayers. After that, I joined in doing the Khusuf prayers or eclipse prayer. Listened to the khutbah after that and when I took my bag, everyone was gone except the netball girls. Luqman Nur and Abdul Aziz had already left for Junction 8. I reached there in time to see them finish their meals in McDonalds. We started talking about times when we'd be together for the rest of our lives.. then we started talking about death and tombstones. Then, we all joked about Facebook-ing in our kubr.. Haha, I was laughing at the fact that we were fooling around with the idea of death. But it was funny. Busy status, Away status.. The three of us laughed hysterically in an already full fast food restaurant. We left soon afterwards, and the day ended.. (No elaboration after that).
The next day, I joined Ruzaini, Asyraf, Luqman Nur, Abdul Aziz, Haziq and Mr Izzad at Bishan Harmony Park. We played with waveboards, skateboards and Luqman Nur's rollerblades. It was totally awesome. Unfortunately, when 1pm came, Abdul Aziz had to go home and I felt guilty not going with him. 5 min later, Ruzaini and Asyraf, along with Haziq decided to go to Junction 8. Luqman Nur and I, went back to school, following Mr Izzad who had left 15 min earlier.
Performed our Zuhr prayers at the mosque and then continued playing at school. Yay, I can ride the rollerblades now! When I got back, I was like.. "whoa". Tiring, it was.. :D
When the night declared its reign, I turned on my computer and uploaded the photos from the STE Camp. I uploaded just the first 2 days before calling it quits for the day. Chatted with a number of people. Muhammad, Abdul Aziz, Syuhada and Shaakira.
Waah.. I talked for so long with the girls. Haha, sorry guys, but they seemed more interesting.. Syuhada got her mind read by me.. wahahaha. Had a good time chatting with her. Shaakira, on the other hand, was umm.. frustrated with maths. Haha, so we talked and talked, but not about maths.. :)
So then, there was this one moment when she invited me to Pizzahut with her friend, Eeks Azam. Haha, my reaction... "Awkward"!!! And anyway, I was the guy so it'd be bad if I didnt pay the tab. Haha, and I barely know her and her friend. Of course, I did want to come. But the current situation was not to my liking. Hehe, next time Shaakira. I slept at 1.40am last night.. And so today, I woke up late. Haha, how late is 11.23am? Just late, I guess..
Wassalam..

Stationary (Not Moving)
Well, I guess I missed out on a lot of things. Due to the fact that my computer became spoiled the day after my last entry. Haha, bad timing. So anyway, Im back and hopefully, I shall write as much as possible. Thank you to those people who read my blog (Haha!) and to this anonymous person who made my day better.
To start off, or in this case, to continue from where I left from, let me just recount to you the December activities that you missed. Well, last I stopped was during the Debate Camp. Well, those three days seemed more like a month. Every moment there, we had to show our good standards as Muslims and for the sake of Irsyad's good name. Everyone there was also so much smarter academically so... well, it wasnt hard not to feel inferior. In the end, I enjoyed myself very much. The end of the camp somehow made me feel a bit down. For one thing, those 3 days were my bonding moments with Hafiz and Helmi, along with the others. I felt good leaving RI after knowing that I had at least managed to get through the whole event. *Smiles everywhere*
The next day (Yeah, the next day), I had my STE camp with the other s3's and s4's of year 2009. 4 days of awesomeness!!!
From the 1st to the 3rd day, I enjoyed myself from morning till noon. I did gain some little stuff from those days but not significant or life-changing. On the 4th day, we had an Amazing Race around Singapore. Ok, around Singapore is too much of an exaggeration. Mainly around the city area. My team (Al-Muhaddithun) arrived 2nd in place for the whole race but lost out in overall. Hehe, nevermind.. the whole experience was a roller coaster of emotions. I'll be uploading the photos on Facebook later on but not now.. So aah, just wait.
Back to present time.
School doesnt seem like how it once used to be. I used to have a great love for my studies and for all lessons. I would listen intently and well, to my utmost best, be good in all subjects. This year however, the fuel to my flame has run out. Im easily bored and tend to get emotional occasionally. Yeah, Im a guy who gets emotional. Big deal..
Reasons for being so.. Umm, there've been a lot of things on my mind. A few in particular. And everytime I think about it, I feel like 'Aarrgghh!' and start being moody and all. Insya Allah, I will get over it and concentrate better this year. STE is coming and Abdullah's train hasnt even left the station. Haha, it will soon.. Hopefully, not too late.
A good day to all...
Wassalam..
P.S. "My heart called out to yours but it was deaf to my voice"
