So far, Im getting overworked with the timetable. Subjects I learn get through to my brain by repetition. At least for 2 or 3 days. The subject Im talking about is my Pure Science subjects. There's only a lesson once a week so its up to me to study...AT HOME!
Ok, for most people, its not a big deal. But Im not that kind of guy who studies at home. I feel only comfortable studying at school, in a class, alone. Its better for me. But what can I do? Just try and hope that I can adapt.
Today was good. But Fiqh was a bit of a downturn. Ustd Mahzan didnt seem to notice me. Ok, I'll explain. When I was in Sec 1, Ustd Mahzan was my form teacher after Mr Rosnizam. Also, I was his favourite at that time. Inquisitive and bright, he looked at me for interesting answers. Unfortunately, there was this one time when Ruzaini, a few others and I were hanging-out after school. We thought of playing with water and spray the people around. Then, we decided to carry Haziq to the dewan. That's when Ustd Mahzan saw us and scolded us. He was exceptionally mad at me. I felt so humiliated and sad. Since then, he never showed me the spark. The gaze which told me that I was the one. The gaze which always encouraged me. He was like a father figure to me in school.
The next year, Abdur Rahman Yassin entered Irsyad and captured Ustd Mahzan's attention. And so, Abdur Rahman was his favourite now. I regret that stupid act and...well, sad.
On with the day, english was very noisy. Nahu was ok. Tafsir was great and Lughah was a blast. CCA had us going to the auditorium where Mr Muneer briefed us about the House Practice and events.
Whilst on the way home, Luqman Nur and I met up with Aziz. He was picking up his little sister. And while on Bus No. 13, I saw Shazaa's little sister (What's her name...?) and thought... If the little sister takes the bus, what about the older sister? That's when Luqman Nur exited the scene. Aziz, his sister and I dropped at the same stop. He walked back home while I waited for Bus No. 162/52/410. Bus No. 52 came and so I took it. At home, checked my multiply and started writing this very blog.

A Premonition?
Last night, I had a very troubling dream. It happened like so...
"It was night. Streetlamps flickered. My parents and I were walking when something up in the sky. I thought it was firework display. Instead, it plummeted to where I was standing. I jumped out of the way. Many more glowing fireworks dropped to the ground. I found out that the glowing fireworks were actually small comets. I turned around and many buildings were catching fire. The whole place seemed like hell. I grabbed my parents's hands and ran.
The next thing I knew, I was at home. I looked from the balcony and most houses were burning. Then, at that moment in the dream, I thought... "Judgement Day can't be here! No, this can't be happening!" I cried and that's when I woke up. I didn't even realise that it was a dream. It seemed so real.
Oh Allah, forgive me for ever thinking that I am safe. That Judgement Day is far far away. Forgive us all for forgetting that we nearing the end of the world...

Making Myself Comfortable
It seems that life is getting a bit better.
Im getting used to the new Irsyad building. I know where most of the areas are. I know which place is most suitable for me to hang-out and just chill. I think that I know most of the school already. Anyway, Im here to write about today and yesterday's highlights. Let's start off with yesterday, shall we?
I arrived at school at about 6.40am. Ziyan and Hazwan arrived only a minute later. As they put down their bags, a small P1 boy approached and asked Ziyan what time we could go home. And so, Ziyan told him 4pm. He left, and so did Ziyan and Hazwan. Five minutes later, Abdul Rahman Aziz arrived, along with Adam and Faiz. Again, the boy approached and went to Adam. "Abang, bila nak balik? Sakit hati! Nak balik!", the boy said. Its malay for "Brother, when can we go home? My heart is broken! I wanna go home!". And so, Adam and Faiz tried to make the boy feel better. They told him to go play with his friends before leaving. And so, the boy left again, only to return to the same area. This time, he soughted help from me. Sigh...I did so. Abdul Rahman Aziz and I escorted him to the office whilst comforting him as he was crying. I asked where his class was. It was P1 Andalusia. There weren't much kids there so I tried to look for Ustd Mustaqim. Sis Nabilah and another Sis came and tried to tell the boy, whose name I found out was Ilham, as best they could. I explained to them why he was crying and they looked at Ilham with pity. Ustd Mustaqim saw Ilham crying and looked at me before giving me a thumbs-up. Haha...I was about to burst out in laughter when Ustd Dzarif arrived and talked to the boy. Both Abdul Rahman Aziz and I, along with the Sis, left Ilham to the care of Ustd Dzarif. It felt good to help someone, at least.
The second highlight of Tuesday was Physics class. I had a great time. Especially when Mdm Surianah asked how people measured the distance from the Sun to the Earth. Hafiz and Ziyan suggested the use of telescopes. That's when I stated the use of the speed of light. Hehe...Mdm Surianah smiled graciously at the answer. Felt good to be smiled at. Then, I toyed around with Mdm Surianah's computer mouse during break time when everyone was crowding around Msm Surianah. Scrolled the page up and down before Luqman Hakim noticed it and laughed. It was funny...=)
Well, that's Tuesday for me.
On Wednesday, however, I made history. During the first recess, I walked over casually to the mosque. I intended to go to the toilet. I did, of course but I took the opportunity to perform my Dhuha prayers. Woo Hoo!!! The first Irsyadian student to perform Dhuha at the new mosque. There an Ustd there whom I forgot his name. He didn't care. I mean, who would care if I made a prayer to Allah s.w.t.? I dont think anyone would bother not allowing someone to not perform ibadah. So anyway, I felt ecstatic and charged after my Dhuha.
In the morning, waved at Nur but Muhammad suggested winking. Hehe... New to me, I guess.
Soon afterwards, during one class where there wasnt a teacher, we banged tables again! Haha...I opted to Luqman Nur if we wanted to go to Expo and perform. Sec 3 Andalusia, the Musical, I suggested. It was really loud but funny at the same time.
Played Bottle-Cap throwing with Luqman Nur, yet again. Used the wink at Hijannah and returned a loud 'hello' from Shazaa. Sigh...
I think I can get used to the new Irsyad building...=)

Reconciliation
Ok, remember when Luqman Nur left me the day before yesterday? Well, we kinda got over it. Yesterday, Luqman Nur and I played Bottle-Cap Shooting in class and when we went home, he realised that my leg pain was real. So, he insisted I take the bus with him. I insisted that I could walk but, well, anyway, he cared.
So, we took Bus No. 88 to Bishan Interchange to meet up with Aziz. Unfortunately, Aziz couldn't come as he had to study for tests...in January. Pretty quick. In the end, Luqman Nur and I ate at KFC and talked about national schools. And so, we went home. Him taking Bus No. 55 and I taking Bus No. 410.
The next day, meaning...today, it was so wacky. And also a bit saddening. During Tafsir, Ustd Ruzi was absent. So, we were all bored cause there was nothing to do. Instead, the boys started "tapping" their tables with their hands and hitting the sides of the tables with pens. They'd started an acapella. Haha...it was seriously loud and because our class was somewhat soundproof, we sang as loud as we could. Some were just trying to protect their ears from deafness. It was really cool!!!
Sad thing was, Abdur Rahman doesn't seem to like me. He said to me in a very mad tone, "You're pissing me off...". I was so shocked cause I never thought he'd say something like that. And he gave me all these sharp gazes. It just freaked me out!
I think it started off from last year, when I was in Secondary 2.
"I was being my playful, usual self. I was at the dewan (At the old Irsyad building; Irsyad-Newton) with Haziq, Zulfaqar, Luqman Hakim, Luqman Nur, Azhar along with Adam and Abdur Rahman. Adam and Abdur Rahman seemed to be really close friends as both had just entered Irsyad that year. It was during that time, when Adam really crushed my hands whilst shaking hands. I rolled on him as to at least let Adam release the hand. But, Abdur Rahman took my just healed left hand and twisted. It was terribly awful!!! My wrist felt like it was gonna break!!!
And so, from then on, every handshake crushed my hands."
And so, this year, perhaps we'd get to know each other better. And you know, playful me... Sigh...
But Luqman Nur and I met Aziz today. It was a relief to see him. And for the first time, I saw a Victorian uniform. It was neat. Ok...I guess. On the way back, saw Muhammad and Fierdaos and shook hands. Aziz' father picked him up at Old Chang Kee. Luqman Nur and I went home the usual way.
The End...

Treachery
My leg is getting worse. Everytime I take a wrong step, my whole weight strains on my knee. And then, it buckles and collapses. If Im lucky, I can regain my balance. But it still hurts.
Well then, I'll start off with the day then, shall I?
Woke up, bathed, put on clothes, said goodbyes to Mom and Dad. Everyday usual routine. But just as I stepped out of my house, my knee buckled and I almost fell. So ok, just one blunder, right? Wrong, at school I had many of these. But luckily, not many saw. English was the first lesson. Ms Amnah taught us about journal writing and stuff. At the end of the lesson, we had to write a mindmap about journal structure. Next was Malay. We continued with the presentation about helping families in economic downturn. Anyway, I presented the group and my idea as best I could. The class applauded for me and Cikgu Iskandar said that I had become good at speaking in front of audiences. I felt a flush of pride inside of me. But I told myself not to boast it out. Well, not to myself, anyway. Ok...I'll explain. I think of myself as a lot of people. Different personality, different people. So, whenever Im alone, I like to imagine that something like an angel is on my right and listening to me. Well, I compensate for not having siblings...=)
On with the day then? Maths was fine... Had to do work on papers this time. It was ok. Mr Roslan teaches very well. Hadith was also good. Classwork together on good things and bad things. Lughah seemed a bit tense. Just a bit. But other than that, I like to see it as a fun class. Mustolah hadith was ok. The guys talked a lot and Ustzh Faridah found it hard to talk with all the boys talking amongst one another. Then, home.
Now... this is where the subject comes into place. I knew that Luqman Nur always walks to Bishan Interchange. Thus, I sought to find Luqman Nur. When I found him, he rambled on about riding the bus when I knew he was lying. Bus No. 88 arrived and he acted as though he was taking it but instead, he made a turn and went for the overhead bridge. I knew it! I tried as hard as I could to catch up with him but my leg would not co-operate. I caught up with Luqman Nur twice, in spite of the stabbing pain. But, he only ran further.
And then, I thought. Why am I doing this? Why am I chasing someone who doesn't want to be with me? So, that's when I limped as unnoticable as possible to the Bus Interchange. Luqman Nur would be going to Long John Silver. But I didn't care... I would not be with someone who doesn't appreciate me. So far, I am still in search of someone in school to replace Aziz's spot (In school, I mean. Aziz is still my closest and best friend). The missing piece. So far...all the pieces won't fit.
Alas, I shall carry on.

Devil's Sight
It starts off on Thursday...
It was during the first recess. No bad thing happened during this moment. During this time, I was with Haziq, Abdul Rahman, Azhar, Usaid and Zulfaqar. We had finished eating so we went downstairs. We checked out the co-op. It was cute and cozy. But then, on the wall not far beside the shop, there was a stick sticking out of the wall. We all laughed because of how odd it looked. I went into the boys toilet. When I went outside, I went to the lift lobby and saw a camera. Then, to all my friends surprise, I danced in front of the camera. I danced and danced till the end of recess... And so, recess ended.
On the second recess, lunch, it was Muhammad, Abdul Rahman, Taufiq and I. Taufiq wanted to collect his malay exercise books from the co-op so we accompanied him. There, I showed Muhammad the stick. Then, I went to the camera in front of the lift lobby again. But before I could start, Muhammad rested his leg on the stick and it burst. Because, it was a water pipe!!! Haha... water sprayed everywhere. Muhammad, already drenced, took the stick and jammed it in the hole of the water pipe. Soon, Uncle Sariman came and called for help from the Indian builders. They fixed it and after Muhammad left, I entered the toilet again and heard 1 of the Indian builders say,"What the hell...". I knew he was mad.
We went off and saw Luqman Nur on the 3rd storey. Muhammad tried to tell him what happened using his hands to gesture stuff. Unfortunately, at that moment, I was walking behind him and he did a magnificent gesture that his finger poked my eye so hard. Instantly, I covered my eye as it was in a lot of pain. Tears streamed and Muhammad looked and saw that my eye looked like it was bleeding. I washed my face and tried to open my eye but it ached. Really hard.
So, that's the end of that day. Well, the highlight anyway.
Friday...
My eye was still red. It had practically covered half of my right eye. I hope I don't have to go for eye surgery. Its not getting any better. And a lot of people kept asking why my eye was so red. There was...
Hafiz. Ali. Shaheed. Hazwan. Adam. Abdur Rahman Yassin. Abdul Rahman Abdul Aziz. Helmi. Bukhari. Haziq. Zulfaqar. Nur. Hijannah. Shazaa. Munira. Maybe more than that...
So, that's really it... Eye hurt. Im thinking of taking a picture where I look like Im half white-eye, half red-eye. Sorta like, half-human, half-demon.
Hopefully, I'll get better...
Insya Allah...

Curiosity Speaks
Wednesday. Seems normal. Class after class. Well alright, it's kinda normal. This entry only revolves on one moment in school.
It was lunch time. I had left the class, daydreaming about flying (Hehe...funny, I know). I didn't wanna go down stair A so I went down the other stairs. There, I joined Taufiq and Muhammad. They intended to go to the mosque beforehand. It's cause we can only enter the mosque when it was 1.55pm. So, nervous as I was, I tagged along. We walked along stairs and walkways stealthily. Cameras were everywhere. So... When we got to the mosque, we took off our shoes, took our ablutions and went up these flights of stairs. Surprisingly, it led to the 2nd storey of the mosque, the place where girls prayed. We sneaked past the door and went up another step to the 3rd storey, the place where, during the Friday prayers, all secondary boys had to pray...starting from 16th January. It's the mosque's public opening. The stairs ended there. But there was a hatch that went up to the top of the mosque's tower. I wanted to go there...I really did. I was about to climb when the sane part of me shouted out...STOP!!!
So, Muhammad, Taufiq and I went back down in which time it was 15 min before prayer starts. So, that's fun for the day...!!!

My "Gentleman" Friend
Hello again...
Umm... this time, Im talking about some of my friends. But first, update on things...
My school has now moved to the new premises at Braddell. Its closer to my house. Though, where there's an advantage, there's a disadvantage. The advantage is that I dont have to leave the house as early. But, the bus rides are a bit too short. There would be no time to have a short nap. But, its not that bad. Not serious at all.
So, oh yes, my new school. Its... a very tall building. My class is on the 6th storey and we have to take the stairs. The elevators were only for teachers. Oh well...
School's ok. The only thing I disagree is about the no walking anywhere. During recess, we had to stay only in the canteen. I cant even go to the mosque. Its been a while since I did it at school. And we couldn't walk along the corridors and stuff. Its mostly restricted. The only place I like in the school is the theatrette.
Ok, all that said and done, we move on to the main topic.
Well, Aziz just changed to another school. So, on the first day of his new school, when school had ended, Luqman Nur, Haziq and Fierdaos decided to walk to Junction 8. I agreed. We called my best friend and asked him to meet us there as he lived near.
We arrived at Long John Silver and sat down. There, we saw Shazaa and her little brother, Shadi. After they all finished eating, my best friend came. Instantly, I gave him a hug. It felt good to see him even though it had only been a day. Luqman Nur went out and gave Shazaa a souvenir, which he bought in Vietnam, WHICH I didn't even know of. I escorted Haziq to his bus and went to the Royal Sporting House on Level 2, Junction 8. There, I joined Aziz, Luqman Nur and Fierdaos. Aziz bought his new shoes and socks and we all went back home. On the way to the Bus Interchange, I asked Luqman Nur why he didn't tell me about his trip to Vietnam and why he didn't get me a souvenir. He's always paying attention to girls. He said it's what's called "being a gentleman". WHAT???
You can be a gentleman by giving an elderly person your seat. You can be a gentleman by helping people carry stuff. Anything good. Not just give stuff to girls! I told him that if he gave any of us (Aziz/Me/Haziq/Luqman Hakeem), that would be called "being a friend". He denied that and said that it was gay. Hugging was also gay. WHAT???
Hugging isn't gay! It's more like brotherhood. This is just typical of him. This is typical of most modern people nowadays. Their image of gayness is touching and stuff. Sure, touching the wrong places. Gayness is like, having a sexual interest in the same gender. Hugging isn't gay. Brotherhood, friendship and the like. And furthermore, it's good to cherish the people around before you lose them. So, I was really pissed off with Luqman Nur.
Now, things hurt. Im hurt. Everything around me hurts. When will the pain end?
When...?
Umm... this time, Im talking about some of my friends.
WHAT???
