My leg is getting worse. Everytime I take a wrong step, my whole weight strains on my knee. And then, it buckles and collapses. If Im lucky, I can regain my balance. But it still hurts.
Well then, I'll start off with the day then, shall I?
Woke up, bathed, put on clothes, said goodbyes to Mom and Dad. Everyday usual routine. But just as I stepped out of my house, my knee buckled and I almost fell. So ok, just one blunder, right? Wrong, at school I had many of these. But luckily, not many saw. English was the first lesson. Ms Amnah taught us about journal writing and stuff. At the end of the lesson, we had to write a mindmap about journal structure. Next was Malay. We continued with the presentation about helping families in economic downturn. Anyway, I presented the group and my idea as best I could. The class applauded for me and Cikgu Iskandar said that I had become good at speaking in front of audiences. I felt a flush of pride inside of me. But I told myself not to boast it out. Well, not to myself, anyway. Ok...I'll explain. I think of myself as a lot of people. Different personality, different people. So, whenever Im alone, I like to imagine that something like an angel is on my right and listening to me. Well, I compensate for not having siblings...=)
On with the day then? Maths was fine... Had to do work on papers this time. It was ok. Mr Roslan teaches very well. Hadith was also good. Classwork together on good things and bad things. Lughah seemed a bit tense. Just a bit. But other than that, I like to see it as a fun class. Mustolah hadith was ok. The guys talked a lot and Ustzh Faridah found it hard to talk with all the boys talking amongst one another. Then, home.
Now... this is where the subject comes into place. I knew that Luqman Nur always walks to Bishan Interchange. Thus, I sought to find Luqman Nur. When I found him, he rambled on about riding the bus when I knew he was lying. Bus No. 88 arrived and he acted as though he was taking it but instead, he made a turn and went for the overhead bridge. I knew it! I tried as hard as I could to catch up with him but my leg would not co-operate. I caught up with Luqman Nur twice, in spite of the stabbing pain. But, he only ran further.
And then, I thought. Why am I doing this? Why am I chasing someone who doesn't want to be with me? So, that's when I limped as unnoticable as possible to the Bus Interchange. Luqman Nur would be going to Long John Silver. But I didn't care... I would not be with someone who doesn't appreciate me. So far, I am still in search of someone in school to replace Aziz's spot (In school, I mean. Aziz is still my closest and best friend). The missing piece. So far...all the pieces won't fit.
Alas, I shall carry on.
