A Change in Places

With Fadil absent today, I was able to sit at his place and its quite different there. And of course, I can ask the teachers questions without having the whole class hear me. Hmm.. wanna switch places, Fadil???

So anyway, I had quite a good day. There were some free periods where I did some arts and crafts on my own. Yeah.. arts and crafts is now my new form of meditation and rehabilitation. I made 2 handmade water lilies. Somehow, my first one got into the hands of Nadhira so I let her have it. I made a second one and had Syuhada give it to Shaakira. Hopefully, she likes it :)

The rest of the lessons whoosed by in an instant. However, the humidity of my class was a downside to all this speeding. Sigh.. Frankly, Im quite nervous for my exams, especially my maths and sciences. I aint actually the science whiz that I was 6 years ago. So I really really hope that my revisions with the guys can help greatly. Alhamdulillah, I have had my fair share of mind-blowing discoveries in my studies, thanks to my wonderful teachers.. And I hope that these moments happen again. Amiin :)

What else? Well... lemme see, I had a meeting with the debaters and I felt awesome being in an all-english environment. Uhuh, I felt reeeeaaaaaal good! Alhamdulillah.. such moments are so rare...

Well now.. I got Maths graphs to complete (No idea how to do.. And Im crying because of that) . . . some hadith assignments . . . an arabic letter . . . some geography assignments . . . some physics assignments . . . and thats it, I guess. Well, I hope thats it...

The Flu

As promised, Im gonna write down yesterday's story.. Well, now that I think of it, I forgot what did happen yesterday. Err.. I'll just summarise the whole Monday.

First and foremost, I enjoyed Geography class very much. I didnt exactly find the lesson interesting but the discussions with my group members were quite engaging. Cikgu Iskandar wasnt in class as he had Reservist duties so Ms Mariam entered instead. We had to do work.. during Geography. Anyway, whilst working, my group members and I talked about marriage. It was quite cute.

Then, during Chemistry lesson, I was particularly active in doing the work. Even Sali and Syaira noticed this new me and recommended me to stay that way. Well, thats good, I guess.
After school, I planned on doing some Jumpstyle dance moves with Bukhari and Danish but I suddenly lost interest cause I aint that good at Jumpstyle or Hardjump for that matter. Sigh.. I've been thinking and I think Imma go with freestyle dancing instead :)

So today... I was awfully, terribly and horrendously sick with flu. I pitied my group members who had to endure with my constant sneezing and stuff. Unfortunately, I spread my flu to 3 of my other classmates which is pretty bad. I even asked Mdm Baizah to do my English oral on another day cause I felt so sick.

Lotsa people were sick today anyhow.. During Physics class, Mdm Surianah had the sore throat so we had to do indivual work which was awesome. Luqman Hakim, Farid and I talked about superheroes and their relations to science and physics. It really made me feel better.

Err.. what else? Well, Happy Birthday to Hijannah! I made for her a homemade chest for her to keep her stuff. Hehe, it was okay in my opinion and I hope she likes it. Oh yeah oh yeah, I also gave a waffle to Bahirah who shared it with Shazaa and I gave some 'Chocki-Chocki' to Syuhada who shared it with Aminah. Now isnt the world so much better now? ;D

You know... I wish I could just lie down in the countryside and gaze up into the stars. Or maybe just some alone time in a quiet place would be nice too..

Another Exco Recce

I need to get new wheels for my 'Red Angel' ... seriously, when I rode it today, it was quite scary. The gears rattled and I was steadying myself was best as I could during the speed boosts.

Okay, lemme elaborate then..
Today, I went to the 2nd Exco Peer Tutor Recce at East Coast Park. This time, only 6 others came. They were Luqman Nur, Muhammad, Hurun, Raudhah, Muslihah Zulkifli and Mr Izzad. I expected more though.

Anyway, first, we all met up at McDonalds. When everyone was there, we left for a bike shop at which to rent bikes. However, Luqman and Mr Izzad brought their Ripstiks but they rented a bike anyway. I was the only one riding a board.
So, we cycled all the way to the furthest east side of East Coast Park. I had it easy. I merely held on to any of the guys' back seat and stayed on 'em. There were scary moments when there were huge gaps and some rocks or sticks. Hehe, it was fun!

After cycling there and back, we went to Burger King and discussed ideas. I didnt participate much since.. *sniff* ... I aint an Exco member. But nevermind..

Muhammad went home first, followed by Hurun. The rest of us went to Kampung Siglap Mosque and performed our Zuhr prayers. Then, the girls stayed and waited for 'Asr prayers. Luqman Nur took Bus No. 55 home while Mr Izzad and I took Bus No. 13 back to school. As usual, we slept for the whole journey..

Mr Izzad went back to school to rest and by the time I reached the bus stop at school, it was already 5pm so I did my 'Asr prayers at Muhajirin Mosque. Went back home and did a bit of work.. And now, it is time for bed.

Zubaidah :)

In memory of Zubaidah, one of the few sweetest sisters I have ever had...

Good luck with whatever road in life you take.. May Allah s.w.t. bless you always! Hopefully, we'll still be in contact after the years ahead :)

Exhausted

[Friday, 09/04/2010]

Friday can be said as one of the most uncaring days ever. My class was chosen to help for the collection of donations for Masjid Hasanah. I could tell that many were tired by the look on their faces. However, we put on a straight face nonetheless. I got paired with Helmi and we got sent to Anggulia Mosque at Farrer Park. The majority there were Indians, with a small number of Malays accompanying the jemaah. Whilst we waited for out taxi to come back, we talked with an Arab guy who cenversed with us in Arabic. I was so thrilled to be talking to someone in Arabic.. Hehe, call me weird but what do I care?

We went back and rested. I waited for the others to come back, standing at the bridge. Zubaidah called me down and told me the most shocking news ever. She was leaving Irsyad... the moment she uttered those words, I swayed a bit by the force of those words impacting me. I knew that there was a S5 girl leaving but I never thought it was Zubaidah. I ran back up and thought of things to give her. First, I made a small card and a letter 'B' out of straws. When I went back downstairs, she was gone. My first impression was that she had gone home. With that, I literally ran to Braddell MRT station but to no avail. I asked some good friends if any of them had Zubaidah's handphone number. When I did find out, I gave her a call and she told me she was at the canteen in school. Whoa... so I ran back. It was soooo tiring.

I went straight to class instead of the canteen. I throwed away the letter 'B' and made another one which read her name. Well, her nickname, at least.. 'Baida'. And so, by the time she wanted to go home, I gave her the gift and she liked it. Her smile made everything worthwhile.
And so the other S4's got ready for the Mukhayyam. None of the guys went to athletics cause it started to rain and most of us werent ready for the Arabic Oral. So, we were excused..

The Mukhayyam was quite okay. Munajat session was as usual.. *sniff sniff*
Umm... I think I drank 3 drinks during the studying session after Isya' prayers. Then, we all went to bed. The guys slept at the MPH at the mosque. One thing though.. the P5's were sooo noisy! I was so frustrated with them, nearly half of the S4's left the room to sleep outside. Everyone went back in when Mr Ismam checked on us.
In the middle of the night, I woke up from the cold. So, I went outside and slept at the carpeted area of the mosque alone.. It was cool

Qiyam and Tahajjud was led by Ustd Abdus Salam. Then after the tahajjud, we had Subh prayers and so on.. then we registered our leave and got ready for the oral.

[Saturday 10/04/2010]

Hafiz, Farid, Bukhari, Abdul Rahman Rahim and I used P2 Cordova to store our bags. It was quite exhausting. We bathed and changed into our school uniforms. Fast forward to the oral itself, I had my exam with Ustd Ramdhan. I had awesome fun conversing with him. I didnt mind being there at all.. I giggled a lot and waved at the other people.

Chemistry plans with Syaira, Helmi, Sali and Asmaa' at class. I was lifeless, waiting for them to finish. Then, I went home with Farid and took the MRT home. It was a nice change.
I watched 'Lord of the Ring' at home and then some other cartoons. I also uploaded some pictures on my computer but Im not gonna upload it here and now.. Im too weak to do so.

Arts & Crafts

Aggravation really makes me depressed. I dont know why but I seldom feel happy throughout the day..

A day without Bukhari was a bit unnerving. Farid, Abdul Rahman and I felt a bit lonelier without him. Hehe, so for the day, I accompanied Farid since he was a bit quiet today.
Lessons could've been better if it werent for the high humidity in my class. Gosh, I'd do anything to be in the countryside and just lie down on the ground. Wouldnt that be nice?

Arts and crafts during Maths class! Haha, naw.. Im kidding. After doing my work, my group and I played with the bundles of straws in S4C. I made 5 straw lightsabers while Ilyas and Muhd joined lots of straws together to make one long one.

During the end of the day, we had half an hour of free period so my group continued with our little project. We constructed a straw circle that could encircle my group. I then made a wolverine claw and Ilyas made a wand. Adibah helped make a Pikachu face for Muhammad and another wand for Ilyas. Taufiq just watched and made jokes for us to laugh at.

I stayed back at school to join the S4B Arabic Program discussion. Some asked what I was doing there but they didnt mind. I hinted some suggestions and then when it was 6:45pm, I went back home with Farid.

Gotta get back to revising and all..
